Smart thinking will know that Tinubu actually initiated a visit to meet Trump but his visit was probably delegated Vance, of which Tinubu initially agreed but later changed his mind because it will be embarrassing to go all the way to US just to meet with the VP.
I guess journalists made that report when Tinubu initially agreed to visit
