BlueRayDick:
To think Tinubu wanted to invade Niger ( a sovereign nation) when he was barely 3 months in office simply beavuse there was regime change in the country.

The people talking about sovereignty today supported that move back then and were arguing Nigeria has a role to play as the African big brother and Balablu being ECOWAS chairman.

Today America is saying fix the incessant killings of christians by Fulani Jihadists in your country or we come do it for you and suddenly they all remember Nigeria is a sovereign nation which America has no right to poke nose into it's internal affairs.

The hypocrisy stinks! 🤮
We can take Niger in 7hrs has suddenly discovered Sovereignty today.

There have been attacks and reprisals in the places where lives and properties are lost in the hands of criminals from either sides. Is there any justification for the cycle of violence perpetuated by both sides, there's no justification.
It is failure of the authorities to dispense justice to victims and their families that's causing this never ending cycle of violence. The violence is not one-sided and the root cause is complex
Grand master, please tell us the origin of initial attack that made Fulani kill 80 villagers and attempted to kill 262 more.

Since you have an idea of the complex root cause to these targeted killings, tell us what triggered the Jihadists sack 102 communities in Plateau state and displaced the original occupants.

What grave sin did they commit against the Fulani Jihadists that made them attack defenseless villagers in the dead of the night setting their houses ablaze and slaughtering anyone on sight.

In December 2024, Christians who were holding a Christmas procession in Gombe state were killed after a truck rammed into them leaving 8 people dead and 22 injured. In same vein during the 2025 Easter celebrations another driver deliberately rammed into a procession of Christians in same Gombe state. In fact, there is a pattern to this in Gombe state because similar thing happened in 2019.

Pray tell what original sin these people committed that led to the so called "reprisal attacks" theory you are propounding here now.

The violence is not one sided but only one side are armed with AKs while the military constantly disarms the other.

One needs to wonder why these guys are this much alarmed with Trump's utterances.

For a minute let us all agree Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulani Herdsmen and Bandits have been killing more Christians like they want us to believe.

Shebi they should be happy if Trump says he wants to lend helping hand to neutralize those killers which should also make them happy since they claimed the killers attack both Christians and Muslims? undecided

When you look at someone like this Gumi that has always claimed Bandits and terrorists are their freedom fighters it just gives u a glimpse into the mindset of some of these guys.

The fact that Gumi with his extremist views raised a son who recently graduated from NDA and absorbed into Nigerian Military should disturb anyone sha.

Why are almost all the Muslims in the north against wiping off those terrorists?
I think it's now clear why the terrorists haven't been defeated all this while.

The only solution to this is to divide this country. No amount of US military intervention will solve the problem in the north. Just divide the country.

You know who would have been perfect for these sort of negotiations with the Trump administration? Prof. Osinbajo - smooth-talking, quick-witted, the uncanny ability to weaponize and disarm with humour, and the eloquence to match JD Vance.

There's nobody in the Tinubu administration right now who can do this with enough knowledge of foreign policies and the law.

Osinbajo is too civilly intelligent to be let to rot away from public light. He was born for this.

I'd rather he is part of the Tinubu entourage to the White House and leading the talks or part of it. Not the VP or any of the Ministers.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 9:19am On Nov 03, 2025
I just hope the news of Tinubu going to the US to meet with JD Vance is fake sha, because I don't think he'll be able to recover from the embarrassment he'll get there.

How'll someone who’s afraid of debating Atiku or Obi face to face going to be able to debate JD Vance on this? grin

They will go all “guns-a-blazing” on him with questions, and there won't be ribadu, and el-rufai to delegate questions to. grin

The best time to have divided Nigeria was the civil war. It cannot happen again. Infact, it would be disastrous to make it happen.

You think Southern Nigeria will be united if it happens? You think the South South will be united if it happens?

That's even more reason why bandits will continue to need his services. Imagine him having intel on the military's offensive moves against the bandits long before the attacks are carried out.

You must love those terrorist sympathizers, most of whom still think, and behave like people living in the 6th century AD.
Southern Nigeria as a country on it's own will never be as worse as the nonsense we have now.

You don't need to worry about him, he'll be delegating his entourage to answer the questions for him like they did at Chatham House.

The Truth is both Southern and Northern elites will fight tooth and nail for Nigeria to remain "united" instead of divided. Why? They have so much to lose than gain if Nigeria gets divided into different nations. People like Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu, Wale Tinubu, Rabiu Abdulsamad, etc will fight use all their resources to continue to push for Nigeria to maintain status quo. They are what they are today because of the way Nigeria is currently structured; their wealth stretched far and beyond the various parts of this country.

I don't think any of them will fancy the idea of starting again in a young smaller nation. Trust me, except majority of them are on board I don't think a bloodless division of this country will ever be possible.

That's what you think, but in Africa, history has shown time and time again, that it is not achievable.

While the North carries religion on their head, what about the South with resources?

I am not saying I enjoy Nigeria's Unity. I'm saying that breaking it now is late. Both regions have no proof that they have good leaders to lead and manage them.

I knew that news was fake from day 1. Judging by how Trump moves, there's no way they are going to allow Tinubu visit. Visit for what exactly? Even if Tinubu is stupid, I believe he still has self esteem, if he makes the mistake of meeting Trump or JD Vance, the embarrassment he'll get might give him stroke, he won't recover from the kind of disgrace that will be meted on him.

No country has ever been divided without the shedding of blood. No pain, no gain. Sacrifices must be made.
If you're scared of shedding of blood, we'll remain in this worthless contraption that'll keep getting worse, and will never get better even if given 100 more years.

Are u willing to have ur own blood shed for Nigeria to be divided ?

PS: This is a polar question that requires "Yes" or "No" as answer.

Lol the optics alone was bad enough and from all indications, it looks like Trump doesn't want to meet Tinubu either, we'll see how this develops.
