I pity some of you that never witnessed any war in your life. Your forefathers would testify. Many of you guys wish evil on Nigeria just because you lost election will be the first to be consumed. Go and ask Libya and other countries affected by invasion.
You guys keep mentioning Linya. Libya currently has steady electricity, the killings and violence has long stopped there, Libyan economy is way better than niheria and their currency out-performs the naira. Libya is 100x better than nigeria at the moment

Why is everything "election loss" to you urchins?
Election was completed since 2 years ago and you guys keep living in that past. Is this not madness?

Sharing his views on X, a Nigerian user, Inyali Peter, wrote, “Is there a single country the US has invaded that it has not left in ruins? We must be cautious about what we support for the sake of politics. The United States has targeted every revolutionary African leader.”

Another Nigerian on X with the username Omo Akin wrote, “America fought against ISIS in Syria, ISIS is ruling Syria today. America fought Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Al-Qaeda is ruling Iraq today. America fought the Taliban in Afghanistan, and the Taliban is ruling Afghanistan today. Yet Nigerians are begging America to come and fight Boko Haram,” he added.

A food for thought.

As much as I want USA to come and help eliminate these devils that are killing both Christians and Muslims ,antecedent is very important and no nation will invite a worse condition than what already exists.

Pls,President Trump help us the way you helped Israel with weapons and funds and we would be forever be thankful to you for the elimination of terrorism in Nigeria.

Nigerians should not entertain any thoughts of foreign intervention. We are a sovereign nation and will solve our problems with Nigerian solutions. President Tinubu is handling the issues well, and the Federal Government is fully in charge.

I find it ridiculous that anyone will think about inviting the US or any country to invade Nigeria.
The US is not threatening to invade Nigeria.
They want to deal ruthlessly with Islamic terrorists that have been terrorizing the country for decades. and if you have a problem with that, you should check yourself.

Yes we know we are a sovereign nation and our sovereignty must be respected, but be truthful to yourself, have we being handling the issue well as you said? The country has being experiencing wanton killings from Islamic terrorist and bandits for more than ten years and our irresponsible government is doing nothing about it. They only care more about their personal interest while the ordinary Nigerians struggle to survive in the hands of their killers.
Secondly, nobody invited the US govt, they invited themselves because of the Nigerian government inability to curb and contain the insecurity situation in nigeria. We brought this on ourselves, so let's not act as if we are not seeing what's going in this country. A lot terrorist sponsors are in government and the military, but feel untouchable because the federal government can't confront them and the people are being slaughtered every day.

The situation has to change for good, and the Nigerian government must do the needful or else someone else will do it for them. Nigerians deserve better.

Funny that some of you think this will bring Tinubu down. If anything, it is likely to work in his advantage. Muslims in the Northern Nigeria are beginning to see this development as one orchestrated by Christians against Muslims and the Muslim-Muslim ticket. I can't see how this will not benefit Tinubu.

The Christians in the SW, SS and NC who are already supporting him will not stop supporting him. Have you wondered why Atiku and Obi have refused to utter any word in this regards in the past 48 hours?
Keep on playing useless political permutations until you hear Gbowaaa! Then you'll understand that everything is not propaganda.
Re: How Nigerians Are Reacting To US Threat Of Military Incursion In Nigeria by Mrexcell(m): 4:39pm On Nov 03, 2025
There's actually a possibility of the invasion destabilising nigeria it might even end up benefiting the already armed bloodthirsty jihadists at the long run if the US military only conduct strikes and leave nigerians to handle the rest. The jihadists are already prepared, well trained and battle hardened to fight and seize power from nigeria's corrupt politicians if there's any major crises in nigeria.
Re: How Nigerians Are Reacting To US Threat Of Military Incursion In Nigeria by placeofallure(f): 4:43pm On Nov 03, 2025
Sheuns:
Why should Atiku or Obi say anything?

APC has been in power since 2015. Atiku has not been in power since 2007, Obi has never been in power at federal level.

Why do you lackeys of Emilokan want them to say something about the military intervention against terrorists and its sympathizers?

No be una get power again?
That's not an objective argument. All the while when they have been 'shooking' their mouths in narratives, APC have been in power. For them to keep quiet on this one is unusual. Typical Obi and Atiku would have gotten things to say. But whether dem talk or not no concern anyone, na dem get their mouth. I'm sure they'll have their reason for keeping mute.

On the matters arising, anyone that says Trump should not invade Nigeria is evil. People are dying in great numbers and some terrorist apologists, who I'm not sure aren't terrorists themselves, are quoting one constitution or the other that prohibits Trump from thumping in. Ah! Ẹ bẹru ọlọrun na! No diplomacy anything, he should just send his troops.

Nigeria is a sovereign state yes, but under a UN treaty, unleasging insecurity against the nation is an action against the world. America or any nation can't just enter Nigeria and make a move for a regime change.

America is acting based on the unabated insecurity in the land which affects everyone, including us citizens, European citizens, Asia citizens and all others living in Nigeria. Im sure US isn't coming to kill Muslims or wipe out Islamic religion. They know their target, those denigrating Islam by hiding under the religion to attack others. Islam means peace. Im always disturbed when I see the name Islamist terrorists in the news. Its not cool and there are bad eggs giving the religion a bad name. They need to be taken off.

Im sure the usa knows much more than we thing.
Oh US can't just enter because we re sovereign state but terrorists can enter without any restriction or checks?
What good is this sovereignty you re preaching here?
Our sovereignty is already lost. So don't let us waste time with the one nigeria sham because Fulani and terrorist or jihadist more nigerian than the citizen.
Our government had shown less seriousness in the way terrorism is being handle. They re giving killers, murderers, rapist, paedophile amnesty, treating the matter with kids glove.

Let me ask why are elite Muslims speaking out ?
The same wicked sets that couldn't speak out against murderers of children and women, now suddenly have a voice. Honestly, I need a gun for my defence and assurance of existence. I don't trust ur religion of peace because Islam never expanded by peace, it was by military conquest and forceful invasion.

I’ve been reading this thread calmly, but honestly, those saying “we’ll sort out our issues ourselves” should be ashamed. People have been getting killed daily in Jos, Benue, and other places for almost a decade now, and you still haven’t “sorted it out.” Abeg, whatever wants to happen should just happen — we’re tired already.

Those who support the invasion, under the pretext of intervention do not know what they are opting for. Haven't they learnt anything from the counties US invaded. They're not after our interest. They're after there's.

Very wicked people
Please tell us, how exactly is Trump going to separate Christians from others if he invades the country?
Is he going to command his troops to kill Muslims and protect Christians?

Only a confirmed bigot would believe such baseless allegations. There seems to be a hidden motive behind spreading this kind of misinformation — perhaps an attempt to undermine the renewed hope agenda of the current administration, which has become a threat to some global interests.

Especially now that the Dangote Refinery is expanding to become one of the largest in the world
