Your airline will tell you if you have to pick up your luggage but for that it is a simple pickup from one conveyor belt to the other

Hi guys going from Lagos - Heathrow - New York - Washington, I'm already at Heathrow waiting for my 2pm flight, av already checked in my Luggage at New Lagos terminal.
But I av a question.
1. I'm I going to check out at JFK and carry my Luggage there and board the local flight going to Washington. OR
2. It is Washington I'm going to see immigration and check out my Luggage

Nothing serious , just make sure you carry all the documents they requested for.

If any document is missing , they’d ask you to bring it on the day of your interview.

After checking your docs , theyd put it in a file and SEAL it , you are not expected to open it.

You’d take it along on the day of your interview and the consular officer will open it when you commence your interview.

Hello. So in September we book a dna with ddc dna the one recognized by the embassy we wanted to do dna as a supporting document. They refused to do dna for us saying since we got RFE letter the embassy themselves will schedule dna kit for us and i tried explaining to them it’s not requested by the embassy we just want to do it on our own. We couldn’t do it that day and they have refunded us. We used documents as our RFE
My question is this. Will that be enough? Im having fear of rejection or insufficient information
Has anyone submitted documents instead dna

As regards DNA , I don’t think you’re expected to do one unless the C.O does not find your case convincing enough. The C.O then hands you a 221g (DNA) , then you proceed to get it done. The DNA is usually the last resort if there’s skepticism surrounding your case.

For docs , gather as much evidence as you can btw you and your petitioner (chat records , pictures, money transfer records) etc etc etc etc etc

It's called "code share." Code sharing is a marketing arrangement where one airline sells tickets for a flight operated by another airline under its own flight number. Airlines use code sharing to expand their network and offer customers more destinations without having to fly the route themselves.

It went well. Didn't spend up to 5 minutes. Interviewer confirmed I had done DNA during USCIS process, then returned my documents. Asked routine questions like if I or my wife have been previously married, any issues with law enforcement or immigration, have we lived outside the country before and are the kids our biological children. He confirmed our financial sponsors made enough to cover us and asked who lives with my mum. That was all. Kept our passports and by the next day the status had changed to issued. Was at OIS before the end of the week and we scheduled free pickup for the following week.

Can I just ask, during your document review, did they tick complete or incomplete, before you went for the interview.

Don't forget to print the receipt of payment from your CEAC account. I forgot to print a receipt and those printer guys in front of the street charged me 3k for 1 page.

Just ignore those guys and have all your documents. When u get inside the embassy. They'll tell you the order to arrange the documents.

Neither, I was worried but figured if he noticed anything missing he would have told us.

I had everything, there’s a list of documents that you’d need to checklist.


Follow through and make sure you have them to avoid unnecessary delays .

I did mine today. The only thing was that I was told to take another passport photograph because the one I used before was more than six months old.apart from that everything was fine.

I uploaded everything and still took the physical copies. My photo album was too big to fit in the sealed envelope so I was advised to just bring it during the interview proper.

They are right. Its the consulate that will tell tou if they neds dna from ypu and will then inform the dna centre not you
