Good evening folks, if you stay in Fagba, Ishaga and it's environs and you into E-hailing, I have a flight to catch at the local airport very early tomorrow morning by 6:45am. Let's talk if you are game. |

He will definitely Net 400k or more in a month. The only issue is "To share". My advise Is for you to give me on rental, with this schedule, have a fixed amount you're receiving. Then let him handle maintenance. This Job no be office work. It comes with a lot of stress and body pain, there's no way anyone will work every days of the month unless person wey do sign warrant. Have a fee he should pay per month, that way, he can calculate and schedule himself. I don't know how to explain better Sha, but I hope this little works. reverendfather: |

reverendfather:Depending on location in lagos, sure, if your car is sound, you'll surpass 400k... It's best you keep the arrangement that way to avoid strife, but transparency go be koko, if he's not born again, it's a toss |

Bro, "You'll surpass 400k" This statement na him dey make many drivers dey sleep off inside traffic. I remember when the whole f my body hold 2 weeks ago, I spent 4 days at home resting and treating the pain because na me get car wey I dey drive. But when you're expecting to share 400k every month, what happens during the months he can't work all days. It's I said, monthly renter plan works for both. Kumuyiii: |

reverendfather:.. the best option na to give the guy the car on rental like 75k weekly, he can easily net that 400k in 2 weeks, maybe he handles minor repairs, major repairs like 50-50.. or maybe u can hustle with the car urself, drive only on weekends u can even net 300k-400k monthly just driving on weekend, but your body go tell u |

reverendfather:This theory will b very hard to practicalize o. Dropping u 6.30am will mean waking up at least 5.30am everyday, for someone who is not under any authority, that will be near impossible. Also, trying to b in ikeja around ur closing time everyday will be very hard and disruptive for the driver. I will advise u find ur way to work n back and let him be with the car till Saturday night. Then u can have a car for Sunday with ur family. 6days, everybody plus car rests on Sunday. And u collect 60-80k weekly. Forget the sharing formulae. But if he is okay with ur own conditions, then u can go ahead and collect a fixed amount. So u will not have to be supervising his earnings or he will not have to hide anything from u. But I am very sure this arrangement will bring qaurell. |

Pearl1910:60-80k weekly, who go handle repair? It's a bit much... Uber work get seasons... 40-50k weekly is fair |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by TUBLEZ(m): 6:23am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Pearl1910:best advice so far, u don’t expect ur driver to see a surge trip of 15K net ard 5pm to vi and chose to reject it because he wants to go and pick the car owner from work kolewerk.. lastly 50K weekly is fair enough make una no kill the driver . |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Obedibombedi: 6:44am On Nov 04, 2025 |
If I'm giving a car to a partner to drive, I won't request less than 100k weekly to reflect current market reality and pricing. ![]() To be reviewed 3rd week of January though. Car owners, pls drive your car yourself and earn all these rabba.. ![]() |

Obedibombedi:Drive it urself... Whatever you'll want to be done unto you, do it to others... People are not ur slave, you won't want someone to give you work that you'll barely get by with.... If you're looking for 9 to 5,you'll be looking for big salary but somehow you feel bolt driver deserves less becus na ur car... Not making excuse for bad behaviour but this is why some of these men handle these cars with disdain.... If you own a car, and want someone to drive for you, be VERY FAIR, you didn't employ a slave, I'll be glad if someone became a man of himself through my car, move on better in life through my car, driving for me won't be tantamount to just get feeding money and little pocket change... So far the person dey take good care of ur car, you should only aim 40% profit for you, 60% for him..... Someone like me will even take 35% and give him 65...ultimately na him dey road dey risk him life day in day out, let's all use our conscience.... If the person decides to see me as a fool, may God reward him then. That's my fair share |

There's no friendship in business. If my driver-partner makes x2 more due to market realities, I should also request x2 more. Rental agreement should be flexible. LAGRIDE electric drivers pay 100k daily after an initial deposit of 1.2M, total package of 35M for 6 years "drive to own" Again, there's no friendship in business. |

Kumuyiii:Since it's confirmed that driver makes minimum of 40k net daily which amounts to more than 1m monthly, please help calculate 35% of that and divide into weekly sir |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 7:48am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Who did you confirm it from that minimum Net is 40k daily? Yes there are days you get that, but not everyday. The implication of chocking drivers with returns will eventually land on the owner because it'll reflect on car maintenance. They'll just drive you car mad and drop it for you after 6 or 7 months. Be fair in your deal. 40-50k weekly is the fairest rental deal for any driver. There's no way he'll work everyday, he has to have days of rest too and it can't be only Sunday, that's the truth. Vela01:Oga sir I dey drive and I make more than 40k daily. I am just being reasonable like the person I quoted. If everyone is fair , 40k weekly on rentals is a crime and day light robbery. Drivers will use excuse of damaging car to push this nonsense narrative. Wetin concern me, if you get your own car you can give it out for 40k weekly as rentals ( like say this will stop wicked drivers from not damaging your car) |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kumuyiii(m): 8:28am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Dabadwela:Who confirmed 40k daily net? By net, you mean after fuel and commission abi? You don't know where the person is staying, you don't know how strong the person is, or is not.... To rake in 40k net everyday, you think say na beans? Ur driver should out earn you, simple... If e easy, go run am.... I know how many accidents God save me from on these roads, but if you choose that someone should do it for you, they should be well compensated. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Dabadwela: 8:31am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Kumuyiii:If you don't make at least 40k net, you shouldn't bother be in this business. Go and sell ice cream |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Obedibombedi: 8:48am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Even if you give a driver-partner a car rent-free, he will still meet the owner for maintenance and repairs. Yet they will gross over 1M monthly easy peezy ![]() I have always maintained it's best to drive your car yourself. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by ReadaDream(m): 10:28am On Nov 04, 2025 |
If you like collect 30k rental. When it's time to fix the car, the owner will still be at loss. Collect 30k rental today, spend 150k on repairs next week. How many weeks will the owner wait before he recoups his expenses?.. una too they funny. Make AC just pack up, 150k+ don go.. I go come they wait for your 40/50k weekly.. okay now |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 11:17am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Then, the guy in question should take his car to work, park like every other person and drive home after work. But if anyone take offer of 70-80k a week to drive, he go soon kill himself. ReadaDream: |
