Let me share an experience of current happening with you...

Some time last month one of our foreign mechanical engineer (a Lebanese) went to a well known Ice-cream Company in Ikeja for procurement arrangement, because we are also into car dealership with many years of experience before starting this... The company wanted some new set of trucks... So when this guy got there he saw almost 10 unites of still well looking abandoned trucks lying wasting in the garage, why are these trucks dusty, he asked. They're bad that's why we want you to come see the type we need for purchase.
Can I have a look at them? Why not the fleet manager replied him. Some won't start at all, some have their engine knocked and some with other engine related issues. After checking them all, he told the fleet Mgr to let him take one and get back in 1 week.

We arrange for a toying van which brought it to our workshop in Ikeja, Oregun.

4 days after we drove the truck back to the company for delivery.

We are currently working on the 6th truck as we speak, all trucks, diesel engine.

The company didn't talk about procuring new set of trucks again... 😊

Yes, you know exactly the location of our workshop, please look for a towing van and bring it to out workshop, all our technicians are seriously engaged that we even have hands shortages so can not afford to send any to a rescue mission.
