I think you are the ignorant one here. Sharia is not among the customary laws of Nigeria. There is a penalty code in the constitution for customary courts in the north that has elements of Sharia in it. Full Sharia was never codified in our present constitution. The northern states that adopted Sharia did so in breach of our constitution. Obasanjo saw through the game of their intention to cause chaos because this adoption started as soon as Obasanjo came up with the rule where army officers from Colonel and above who have previously held Political Positions should be compulsorily retired and it affect the strength of the north in the officer corps of the military.

China says it firmly supports the Nigerian government as it “leads its people on the development path suited to its national conditions”, Very Nigerian reports.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Mao Ning, spokesperson of China’s foreign ministry, said “as Nigeria’s comprehensive strategic partner, China firmly opposes any country using religion and human rights as an excuse to interfere in other countries’ internal affairs, and threatening other countries with sanctions and force”.

Ning was answering a question on US President Donald Trump’s threat of military action in Nigeria over alleged persecution of Christians.

On Saturday, Trump asked the US department of war to prepare for “possible action” in Nigeria.

Trump warned the Nigerian government to act fast to end the “killing of Christians” in the country.

He had also called Nigeria a “disgraced country”.

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing’, to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” the US leader said.

“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action.

“If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

Most of the illegal miners from China use bandits, BH, etc for security while they engage in illegal mining. In fact, it's been stated that, these illegal Chinese miners are the ones that pay these misfits to distabilise communities, so they can move in and mine resources illegally.
