We sane Nigerians know you people don't like Nigeria and you don't have any problem with anyone that goes to the international space and spread lies about the country and we know you hate anyone that counters such lies. So what new thing are you saying?
we rather don't like the crop of wicked charlatans leading this country astray. That's the people we don't like, not Nigeria.

During his time in power

1. The average terrorist was poorly armed compared to the Nigerian army. Nothing like bombings and suicide attacks. Al Qaeda was basically concentrating on fighting soviets in Afghanistan

Fulani herdsmen back then had bows and arrows. Or maybe a Dane gun. Doesn't do much against the might of the ak

2. No be the same ibb under whose regime hundreds of christians died or were injured in varied riots all over the north from 1986-92? And no one even got prosecuted self? Na him go come tell us about terrorists?
Eeeh! We know all of you are colluding to make this government survive the dirt they brought on themselves.
In 2014, this same government went to the US to report the PDP government of not doing enough to protect the christians you muslims were exterminating, I am asking what has changed in 2025, have the christian genocide stopped?

I guess you are amongst those who were shouting in favour of hamas, and with the narrative that America destroys nations it visits like afganistan, syria, but you people selfishly, remove that the US also coloniSed germany, south Korea and those countries are all doing good, the difference is the iDeologies of the countries in which case islam played a large role to inhibit their development.

Don't you think, the best Solution to Nigeria Situation now is division?

It's such a pity that Tribalism & Religious sentiments have eroded the senses of many Nigerians.

Imagine a scenario where some "Christian Extremists" in the South, are attacking & burning down Mosques and some Churches who don't accept their Extremist Doctrines, with the aim of establishing their Extrimist doctrines in the whole South.

Sharap

#1. Will Muslims not consider that as a genocide against them. huh
#2. Will Muslims take it lightly just because some churches were also attacked. huh
#3. If no single person behind the attacks is arrested & prosecuted, will Muslims be OK with that, since Christians are also victims. huh

Oga stop digressing. I expect you to be learned. We are talking about Akpabio and Natasha here not about Christian genocide. That's one thing you people always do. You always find a way to bring unrelated issues to present conversation

In othewords, he is playing safe in the interest of self preservation as this is not a Natasha scenario where he can fight back and win with state resources and the powers of our judicial system at his whim. There are levels to this thing called power and where his own power stops is where Trump's own power begins. grin

The man doesn't want that smoke and he is not going to leave anyone in doubt about his position. He doesn't want to be in the bad books of the US. He wants to be clear from the get go so no one in the western world, will come towards him. He does not want then to think he was yapping at their beck..., neither does he want them to see him as an enemy, he does not want Trump or the American political establishment to beleive he was rallying a negative response in Nigeria against the west.. The man just wants the wind to blow away without anyone ascribing any sort of rebuttal comments from him.. Reasons are plenty:

Akpabio looks very ill these days, and is now always flying to different Western hospitals for treatment. One visa ban and he would be stuck in the same run down Nigerian hospitals with all of us.., the same hospitals that he and his APC friends have refused to renovate or equip.
Secondly, dude as the governor and as a minister minister, must have stocked up several offshore accounts with hard dollars. He knows that even if the Nigerians don't know of this, the Americans know these accounts. One pronouncement from the western capitals and all disappears or will be frozen..

He doesn't want that smoke..

So the death of Nigerian citizens are unrelated issues, so this is what you meant by we hating Nigeria, we hate Nigeria because we speak out when the corrupt leaders perpetuate their normal evil, since you fools can't suppress us,. It affects your source of food hence your attack.

Let me tell you a sweet story, una never see something, una go cry blood untill you treat all Nigerians as a Nigerian.

Oga gettout. When a topic about discussing such issue is brought up, you can air your opinion on it not bringing topic A into topic B discussion. You are expected to have had some education. And calling people fools for correcting you on basic common sense shows the level of your sanity of how depreciated it has been

People should stop all these fake things they are posting to score cheap political points ........If someone posts on something real no problem....But posting something that someone never said or did that one is bad.......Like I have always said, our President is not a religious bigot, he is not even interested in such thing. Else he wouldn't have allowed the wife to maintain her Christian faith, so he is not that. But were the problem is, is his in action towards some killings going on in middle belt and some other northern places like plateau, were some people are killed. I watched a pastor's video from plateau state crying about how they are being killed and nothing is done and I was so sad. The president should arrest all involved and jail them. If he can't then let Trump and his NATO allies do it themselves.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has petitioned the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS) to track down those behind a fake report credited to him as attacking United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump.

“Somebody will sit in the comfort of his room and produce a report, even fake pictures of 2023 when the Senate President with Senators visited Port Harcourt for a different event, and claim that I responded to President Trump. Who am I to answer President Trump?” Akpabio said.

“This time, the Senate President of Nigeria did not answer President Trump. The quotation was concocted to cause a diplomatic row. It is the Presidency that can respond officially to such matters,” he added.

Akpabio warned that such fake reports are capable of causing tension and damaging Nigeria’s international relations.

“I believe the Cybercrimes Unit of the Police, the DSS and others should find that character out, because it is meant to cause friction and put the Nigerian Senate in disrepute,” he said.

Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin threw his weight behind Akpabio, describing the false publication as an attack on Nigeria’s sovereignty and the integrity of its parliament
.

Barau said: “You didn’t say it, that’s correct. You shouldn’t be scared of saying it. I’m not scared of Trump. We are a sovereign nation. Nigerians must not be afraid to speak their minds.”

Akpabio, however, clarified that the Senate had not yet discussed Trump’s recent comments about Nigeria in plenary.

“We have not discussed the comment of President Trump in chambers yet. When the Senate deliberates on it officially, only then can I speak,” he said.

He cautioned Nigerians against sharing unverified information, stressing that such actions could endanger the country’s diplomatic standing and mislead the public.

The Nigerian Senate President Akpabio has done the right thing here. Special units of the intelligence agencies MUST ensure that everyone spreading massive disinformation online via NL and other platforms such as X, YouTube WhatsApp FB and offline are brought to justice. The inability to STOP the disinformation is destabilizing the Nigerian political ecosystem while destroying democracy.

The Nigerian President Tinubu and his team don't seem to realize that it's NOT only the foreign Fula militia bandits, Lakurawa, Mamuda, BH, JNIM, ipob, etc that are a security risk to Nigeria BUT those who spread massive disinformation or FAKE news through YouTube, WhatsApp, X, and phone-in programs on radio and TV.
