Early last month which is October, I was scammed by a lady known as loveth for a sum of 150k... The said lady posted an investment program on WhatsApp, and I didn't know it was a scam, she said the investment will last for a period of three months, that is it will end by December, she said the investor will invest with certain amount of money, and he will be given some percentage of the investment proceeds, that is The company will trade with your money and ati the end og the week you will bẹ given sòmè percentage from the profits the company will make.. I make a deposit of 150k ... Since that day I made the deposit, she had blocked me, everywhere, I couldn't reach her i sent messages to her using another phone , I neither see profits on investment,nor my money... Pls how can I get my money back, cos I borrowed the money, .... Pls help me.... This is her WhatsApp number,+234 814 345 7054...thank you... |

The reason I steer clear of WhatsApp ads – I'm super wary about doing stuff online, transactions and all. Why not share the receipt so we can check her last name? Just the first name's not gonna cut it, we've got plenty of Loveths out there. And if you've got pics of hers, that would help. |

Damn 🤦♂️ If it was OPAY, they'd likely have flagged the account as a scam by now due to multiple reports. I've tried tracking her down on other social media, but without pics, it's a dead end. Have you checked out the EFCC website? |

dosmat:Remessage her with another number, tell her you want to invest in that same business you paid for, but ask for normal regular Nigeria bank number to receive the money. You can ask for Opay also, you will use those details to block her in bank. You can even ask her if you can meet physically to discuss about the business she told you. dosmat:If he or she send any accounts that uses phone number, you can call the phone number of that user to play along. Which means when sending it. Let force officer be around whenever he or she want to withdraw from the man. If he withdraw through transfer to another bank, that is good because you can trace it. But if it’s cash, it might not be trace. Only if you plan with the pos agent to put tracking chip on the money and that could be expensive. |

dosmat:Exactly my point before that bozoo started quoting me....It will be penny wise pound foolish to try tracking her because she knows it will cost more than #150k to go after her. Best option is to make a documented police report at the station with her name and opay identity for the negative publicity. |
