Eating out 3k a day? Oh boy you try oh. Even with I better pass my neighbour chicken Republic cheap rice and chicken, 3k can't feed me a day. If I should manage at least 6k daily and that means skipping lunch. I think I need to study how those family man earning below150k monthly manage to take care of their families.

That’s true. The quantity and the quality matters because some road side foods poses challenge - and I stay just a mile away from the market. So the transportation is really cheap. But you’re right on point.

2Ways:
I don't buy food daily, every month end, I buy stocks in bulk and they carry me till month end. I barely eat at restaurants unless it's necessary but on occasion.

From your 200k you can plan yourself. Since you said you are a bachelor. For a start you could keep 70-80k for feeding in a month. If you buy rice, beans, yam, seasoning cubes, oil (both red and vegetable oil), onions, buy dry pepper probably a modu then grind and put in a container.

Garri probably 2k should carry for a month...
And other ingredients. This won't exceed 70k...

Keep small change for fruits, it's very important. At least twice a week you need some fruits.

Then you will need a lot of patience and TIME to Cook.
These 2 things(TIME and Patience) are overlooked but can be Quite challenging if your Work place is FAR from HOME

Earning 900k and spending 180k a month on food translates to punishing myself. Food is a necessity not luxury and it is not optional.

This is the most reasonable price I've seen so far abeg people that spend 3k daily wetin una dey chop? because the other day I decided to try a lil junk after a while I spent 1800 just for biscuit and coke.

I tire, after eating those junks mama put, I spend more on soft drinks and snacks because i always feel like throwing up.

They buy koko(pap) and akara as breakfast, then buy amala as lunch, then rice as dinner

to eat akara and pap cost way higher oh.budget 2k. Ok akara 200 naira you will need 5 of it. Then milk is not cheap.

Taking pap without milk is more nutritious and the best.
Thats when you feel the filling act in it, because no artificials(milk) is added.

I drink alot raw with the thinnest of sugar, or i can just eliminate sugar and use groundnut or soybean Powder.
