in terms of performance for the Super Eagles, Nwabali has been consistently superlative in his performances. He should not be run down because of his character instead he should just get a telling of from the coach.

Maduka Okoye may have improved for his team Udinese but he has cost us before in the Super Eagles so this discussion is not merit driven but agenda driven.

Nwabali with that his head like the head of a truck is long due for replacement. He fought everyone this days including his teammates. I don’t know if it’s inferiority complex or something else. He just needs some benching for now or even absence from the team before he cause us a bigger problem.

Make una leave his head and attitude. Make he sha dey catch ball and make e no collect red card. I doubt if we have a better replacement. The guy has been fairly consistent.

It still baffles me how a goalkeeper who after his fairly good performance at the last AFCON and how our media and fans over hype him thinking he's the next Buffon still keeps for a lower club in South Africa and not even among the big 5 or 6 in South Africa.

After the AFCON they were rumors of over 10 clubs both in Europe and South Africa vying for him. Within me I know it was a lie and an agenda by his agents to get him a club by all cost.
I rmbr saying it here and telling people that cares to listen that, it will be very hard for a top European club to buy Nwabali as a goalkeeper. Cus I have watched so many European league matches and I haven't seen any goalkeeper for any club as bulky and heavy like Nwabali. Nwabali doesn't have the athleticsm of a top goalkeeper.
I said it again that if he manages to get a club in Europe, it will be one of those back water leagues of Azerbaijan and co.
Almost two years on, I am still been proof right. Even in South Africa, the big clubs still snub him.

I'm now wondering with his recent below par performances, how he's benching a goalkeeper playing in one of the top 5 leagues in Europe and a regular starter even after coming back from two months suspension.
Maduka Okoye has kept 90 min in his last 4 games since coming back from suspension, facing the likes of Juventus, Atlanta and co. Teams competing in UCL and not Stekelenbosch and Chippa United of South Africa.

We know in national team set up, it's not easy to rotate or replace the number 1, but Nwabali need a serious competition to make him sit up. And the first thing to do now is to invite Okoye to this next play offs. I'm not saying he should come as automatic starter. But that invite will give Nwabali some kick up the ass to know it's not play time again. But if Okoye shows more form fitness, start him without looking back. My humble take

I watch a lot of football bro....no agenda here,Maduka is better for the Super Eagles at the moment, Nwabali is a calamity waiting to happen.

What exactly is Nigeria going to the word cup for? The only set of people people wishing they qualify are the politicians not because they care but because it will be another avenue to loot the country dry via the sport ministry budgets.

The team itself is unserious and does not understand what it means to play for the national team.

You seem to have forgotten how people were mocking Okoye for his fine boy looks not matching his performances which led to h running away from the Super Eagles for some time after he was demoted. We don't need to go back to the dark days of Okoye and Uzoho.

I have heard you....mind you in the last Afcon ,our defense was solid ,which deceived everyone into believing Nwabali was superman,until the day we faced Cote D'Ivoire in the final and Ola Aina played with injury ,two ivorien chance ,two goals ,a game we were leading

Our defence was solid because we had a goalkeeper between the sticks who inspired confidence in the defence unlike the likes of Uzoho and Maduka. Maduka can only feature if Nwabali is injured. The number 1 spot was won strictly on merit. Maduka had enough time to wrest the top spot from Uzoho but he didn't.
