We all know he has failed woefully on insecurity wch is the mother of every other index of development.

The buck falls on his table and there is no point bringing in another party (state gov or individuals) cause he is the last bustop..
Ok, because the security vote is for flexing by the Governors.

Segedinho:
Failure of a company has nothing to do with employees but the employer
How is an Employer-Employee relationship, the same as President-Gorvernor's relationship?. Did Tinubu appoint/install Alex Otti as Governor?

I am out of here abeg. angry

All what you said is correct but I don't understand the last paragraph oh...
Why must a Governor collecting security votes and not securing the lives and properties of his residents, not be blamed?

Let assume UBA as a company fails and goes bankrupt...

Would u be able to cast blame on her relatively unknown employees?.
It depends on how you are looking at it oh. Why do you think companies train and develop their staff?

Why do you think companies always hire the best?

Nobody can fault obasa. There's no way you'd be made and not be actively looking for ways to plug your children into the system that made you. Any of us will do the same.
The only reason I'm not into politics right now is because I don't like the type of politics being played in Nigeria. You must asslick and be extremely loyal to go far in Nigerian politics, and the kind of person I am I cannot dobale for anybody so I knew it'd be hard for me, that's why I didn't involve myself if not I'd be somewhere now courtesy of my late dad.

There's literally no politician that won't try to bring his children into the system, unless said children aren't interested. And even at that you have to be extremely rebellious and independent, if not they'll force you into the system. It didn't start with obasa, and surely won't end with him.
Everybody is fighting for a legacy.

The chairman didn't just resign, he took the position from him in a shady way

There are politicians who's kids are not in the system. So many have ruled Lagos one way or the other, and their kids are not in the system.

Not like I care if Obasa put his family there. That's their party and state business

But saying no politician will do otherwise, is a fallacy. There are MANY who ruled, got outdated and retired. ...MANY

The noise about Obasa's son is not because he put him in the system. It's the way he craftily put him into a position that people have laboured for, with no regard for their own set process

His son could have been anything....Could head a department or one Agency or even start from somewhere. A local government chairman in Lagos, especially in APC is not a mere feat. People labour to get it. Selection sef no easy for Tinubu to do.

So it's not about him putting his son in a system. It's the open insult he gave to those who have worked and laboured to get there, that's their problem

Companies hires the people they assume to be the best, not necessary the best.

The head of the company would be called out for when/if eventually there is a major setback.

Same thing here...FG has the final say,he controls every single armed men designed to curb violence, insecurity and genocidal attempts.

If thesame man can push Fubara aside, what stop him from doing more against sub-leaders heading some other branches

Pass through like billions of Naira and their future secured?. If you get a place that is soft for you and made you prosperous, why wont you want your childrens life to be soft too?

It happens everywhere in the world. Trump travels with his adult children everywhere, Same with many American presidents who plug their children and family into politics

There was noise about Obasas son some months ago when he tried to contest
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 7:02pm On Nov 06, 2025
🚨 Corinthians have reportedly asked Memphis Depay to move out of his luxury hotel suite, urging him to find a cheaper place to live. 🇧🇷⚠️

💰 The suite costs $46,000 per month, fully paid by the club — covering room service, daily cleaning, a private butler, an exclusive chef, personal security, and an armored car with a private driver.

⛔️ However, the club expects it to be very difficult to convince him to leave, since the arrangement is part of his contract and Depay has no intention of giving up those comforts.

#fblifestyle
All these clubs are funny.

You offer a player a ridiculous contract, and then try to convince the player to accept less.

Memphis should ensure he stays in that hotel till the last second

Why won't there be noise?

The people already knew he was trying to force his son into the picture, thereby forcing him to contest.

Just to get a spot in the primary involves a lot of work. Who knows Obasa son for APC? No be PWc e dey?

The party members already knew what was going to happen. Well, he still had his way

That's what politics is all about to be honest. It's not by who started first, or who has better experience. The people/person you know and who's backing you is more important than the number of years or experience you have. It is what it is.

Of what use is the security vote if it is being used to fund terrorists doing harm to his countryhuh?

Obasa's son is young. He shouldn't have ended the career of the older ones because of that. His son will obviously do 4 to 8 years. Some people don dey queue since Ambode time

You're not getting my point

His son could have been anything. They can form Lagos State Ministry of Happiness and Mentorship, and make his son the DG.

Just like Tinubu fielding Seyi in 2027..How do you expect other politicians in the party to feel?

That's why I said it's not by how many years you've been working for it. What of people who decamp to a party and immediately overtake the positions of people who have hitherto been holding the party together? How you feel about it is your business. No emotions in politics. The game is the game.
