In the Ikotun area of Lagos State, police officers of the Ikotun Division have commenced a manhunt for criminals who were seen on camera breaking into a store, stealing electronics valued at millions of naira, and fleeing.

According to Naomisophyblog, the incident first occurred on September 27, 2025, and after successfully looting the store, they returned on October 28, 2025. During the operation, the DPO, CSP Waheed Adebisi, personally led police officers of the Division in repelling them.

The event occurred at the owner's (name withheld) electronics store in Lagos' Ikotun neighbourhood after he had shut the store and left for home.

The neighbours claim that the robbers successfully plundered the store during the first operation and returned for a second round. Meanwhile, during the second round of looting, the residents courageously alerted the DPO, who personally led the operation after receiving the distress call, but the robbers fled after sighting the DPO and his team of operational officers.

Police sources claim that after the complainant shut the store and left for home on those two evenings, a group of armed thieves armed with various weapons stormed into the store, stole the merchandise, and began transporting it.

The suspects, however, were unaware that a surveillance camera had recorded them entering the building and moving the gadgets.

However, the police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects who are now at large and declared wanted:

"The suspects are wanted in relation to a burglary that took place at an electronics store in Lagos, Nigeria's Ikotun Area, on September 27, 2025, and October 28, 2025. The suspects were seen entering the building and departing with devices in surveillance footage."

"We are requesting the public's help in identifying the people depicted in the picture and video below. There will be substantial rewards for anyone who gives information that results in the arrest of the burglary suspects."

Do not approach the individuals if seen; instead, call 09168628991.

Tell them to do all that work during the daytime. They will come up with 1,001 excuses why they can’t. I believe robbers enjoy the adrenaline rush associated with their acts. One can’t tell me otherwise.
