Bimmarlykay:
Get seriously educated, it matters. Stop regurgitating Naija leaders' words.

Do you remember the US six-man invisible squad? They came to Nigeria undetected, carried out a rescue, and left without being stopped. Sovereignty my balls.

Y'all ll learn.
The US needs to do something about that snap stuff. Government officials really admitted 43 million live on snap, without government 43 million people cannot afford a plate of food by themselves?! Are they not ashamed to publicly admit such stats?

Any country that has that much number of people who cannot eat a meal without government shouldn't have the right to tag themselves "1st world".

You've got a point, that number is wild. It's a wake-up call. They need to do better at getting people jobs, not just a handout. The system needs an overhaul, for sure. 43 million is a ton of people. It shows they've got some serious work to do.

Lol,they're still a 1st world country, any decent 'first world' country takes care of its own. It's not about shame, it's about not letting people starve in the richest country in the world. Common sense if you ask me.

The Dangote Refinery has lowered the price of petrol at the gantry to ₦828 per litre, a reduction from the previous cost of ₦877. This change reflects a 5.6% decrease.

Industry insiders have confirmed that NNPC Ltd will be providing the 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery with five crude shipments set to load in December. The shipments will include Amenam, Bonny Light, CJ Blend, Forcados, and Qua Iboe.

The change in pricing aims to offer some relief to fuel marketers and consumers across the country, after experiencing several weeks of high pump prices. Depot operators in Lagos have confirmed that they began loading at the revised price early on Friday, and a similar decrease in prices at retail stations is expected to follow suit in the next few days.

Does this mean MRS will sell 828? That would be a massive improvement on this 915 I painfully buy.

African Union Commission Reaffirms Commitment to #Nigeria’s Sovereignty, Religious Freedom, and Rule of Law.

The
@_AfricanUnion
Commission (AUC) reiterates its unwavering commitment to the principles of sovereignty, non-interference, religious freedom, and the rule of law, as enshrined in the African Union Constitutive Act and related instruments.

The Commission notes with concern recent statements by the United States of America alleging that the Government of Nigeria is complicit in the targeted killing of Christians and threatening military action. The AUC emphasizes the following:

1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a longstanding and valued Member State of the African Union, playing a key role in regional stability, counter-terrorism, peacekeeping initiatives, and continental integration.

2. The AUC fully respects Nigeria’s sovereign right to manage its internal affairs, including security, religious freedom, and human rights, in line with its Constitution and international obligations. Any external engagement must respect Nigeria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity.

3. The Commission supports Nigeria’s repeated affirmation that its Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and belief and that the Government rejects all forms of religious persecution.

4. Nigeria faces complex security challenges affecting citizens of all faiths, including violent extremist groups, banditry, communal violence, and resource-based conflicts. The AUC calls for regional, and international cooperation to support Nigeria and other African countries, in strengthening capacity to respond to insecurity, protect all citizens, uphold human rights, and bring perpetrators of violence to justice.

The AUC remains ready to provide support through its peace and security architecture, capacity-building programs, and strategic partnerships.

5. The AUC rejects any narrative that weaponizes religion or oversimplifies security challenges. Conflating all violence with a single religious-target narrative may hinder effective solutions and destabilize communities.

6. AUC urges external partners, including the United States, to engage Nigeria through diplomatic dialogue, intelligence-sharing, and capacity-building partnerships, while respecting Nigerian sovereignty rather than resorting to unilateral threats of military intervention, which could undermine continental peace, regional stability, and AU norms for peaceful conflict management.

The African Union Commission remains committed to supporting Member States in promoting peace, security, human rights, and development, while upholding sovereignty and non-interference.

Perhaps USA is doing what AUC should have done using 'diplomatic engagement'

RESPECT OUR SOVEREIGNITY

That's the narrative now by FG after the disgraceful failure of denying that there's no genocide.

You want others to respect your sovereignity so that you will be free to perpetrate your wickedness.

You want others to respect your sovereignity but you have no respect for human life.

INEC should ask PDP is shut down.

They are useless.

Damagun and Anyanwu are both puppets of Wike and have colluded to to ensure that the party remains divided.

They are staging a fight to make sure the National Convention won't hold and even if it does, it won't be legitimate.

A woman told me if dna test is made compulsory today and gov says every family should go for dna test, 80% of all families in the country will collapse.
Something some of us already knew, but I'm glad a mature woman admitted it.
As a man, if the reason you don't want to do dna test is the cost, I believe if you can't afford a DNA test you shouldn't be having unprotected sex.

That I chose not to respond to that old man out of self respect no mean say make u sef Wan dey whine Ur mouth in ignorance to matter that is clear to anybody that doesn't have their heads buried inside APC politicians' arse.

All the major news outlet not affiliated to the ruling government in 2020 published news of different instances how the government tried to break resolve of protesters by attempting to infiltrate their ranks days before October 20 2020. We saw Videos of thugs dropped by government owned prados attacking protesters in Abuja to give government reason to Tag the protest violent and send anti riot agants to quash further protests. We also saw how thugs were conveyed Alausa-Ikeja in government owned busses with the thugs wielding verious dangerous weapons. The famous meme of a cutlass wielding thug who is linked to the current speaker of Lagos state house of assembly was birthed that day very day.

Even international news media acknowledged how decentralized, organized and peaceful the protest was until Ur dumb principal Buhari decided shooting at unarmed protesters was what would be the best course of action.

Till date I have video of area boys who attacked Ọba of Lagos palace, Adeniji police station and some other locations on Lagos Island following the violence and all of those guys are thugs who help government prosecute elections on a regular election period.

If anybody wants to foolishly join politicians in deflecting the blame for the carnage caused away from themselves, they are free to do so. But no be you go dey rewrite the history of times I lived through by myself.

PDP allowed one man to singlehandedly destroy the party, by refusing to suspend or expel wike from the party when he worked against the party during the 2023 elections.
Well, everyone has left the PDP for him. Let's see what he'll do in 2027.
