Having %80 officiators from the same nation in a FIFA world cup tournament is a bad buildup. UEFA don't do that kind of rubbish.

No matter how you look at it, it's an irresponsible decision by CAF and it makes you wonder what caliber of people are in charge of affairs at the organization.

We had nine (9) groups in the qualifying series, yet they could only assign match officials from South Africa and Benin. These are countries that played in the same group with Nigeria. That is lazy and irresponsible. Let's learn to call a spade a spade.

Another example of normalization of deviance where exceptions become norms. Every decision should involve some measure of risk analysis. Why open your own organization to unnecessary controversies and conspiracy theories when you could simply avoid it? 54 countries are officially part of CAF, why opt for the worst possible combo in terms of exposure to controversy and image issues with this particular match?

Super Eagles had the opportunity to finish the job during the group stage, but they messed things up.

Are we already making excuses if we lose? South Africans don't like us ... which means the referees will be biased ...they are unprofessional ... cannot and will not be fair in their decisions .. it will always be against us. That should be a good mentality for our players ... knowing this they wouldn't get emotional and commit foolish fouls ... will not be throwing tantrums because they know the refs will be looking for every little opportunity to give them red card...or reward penalty kicks to the other side. Now what if we win? ... I'm sure all these mouths will be silent.
