Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio has held a fruitful discussion with his Nigerian counterpart, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Abuja.

According to President Bio, the meeting centered on strengthening cooperation between Sierra Leone and Nigeria, as well as developing a broader coalition to combat terrorism and insecurity across West Africa.

Both leaders also emphasized the importance of promoting regional integration under the framework of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

The discussion comes at a time when West African nations are facing growing security challenges, including terrorism and cross-border crimes.

Just recently, U.S. President Donald Trump designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” and threatened possible military intervention over an alleged ongoing Christian Genocide in the country.

The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with other ECOWAS member states to ensure stability, peace, and sustainable development in the region.

The meeting underscores ongoing diplomatic efforts among West African leaders to reinforce unity and address common regional concerns through dialogue and collaboration.

I was reading the news the other time about Adeboye saying Trump will invade Nigeria, now makes me to reason the manipulative words. Did Trump really say he's invading Nigeria? Ok if he's invading Nigeria, then for what? Is it not to wipe the evil people he's been praying against or is Terrorist now the invasion he's supporting? And why did Adeboye mention China and Russia. These people called men of God are without conscience. Adeboye you know what you are doing with that statement. God will judge you all .

we are yet to see effect of the past meetings on the masses.

A welcome development if they work together against insecurity . Then many people think Bandits and killers remain in a particular region but no. If Trump send his soldiers they will need to work in every region to fix out Bandits,killers and Terrorist . Even the proscribed one needs to be dealt with.
