Hi Frank,

If you wasted four valuable years, that’s on you, not the business.

The business is just a means to an end, not the end itself. If there were better options, trust me, many drivers I know would move on to them.

Instead of discouraging drivers without offering better solutions, it’s better to keep your opinions to yourself, alright?
that's the point I have been trying to make,,, there are better options but those drivers cannot move or quit, because they have become stuck in an endless circle. A circle you cannot break without the help of God.,unless that car is forcefully taken from you (maybe accident or partner)which will of course send that driver back to square 1, or even worst than he was before going into the business!!!!.

That's why you see some drivers doing ehailing for 8-10years and still remain in one level, they really want to stop but they can't possibly stop because they have become entangled in endless circle..
It's way better to already have a good strong business at hand, and maybe just drive your personal vehicle whenever you feel like, than going all in without any other already made tangible business at hand

so after I sat down and cried my eyes out, made research, moved around, talked to people,, then I will now come here and give you my business ideas abi!!!! Clap for yourself grin.
But the only thing I will sha tell you Is that those business you might be looking down on May actually fetch you more money than ehailing, I have an auntie who rented a tiny shop on my bustop, she sells foodstuffs, action bitters and small provision,, I was laughing at first, but I was later amazed when she told me sells nothing less than 80k-100k daily just by sitting in her shop...
But me that drive around Lagos with a car of over 6mil, avoiding police, vio, lastma, area boys, agbero, robbers, I don't even make that money daily...
So relax and think for yourself

Go register on Uber. Leave indrive and bolt and preserve your mental health.
Work at your own pace.
Find a pattern that works for you and milk it till it's dry.
Take care of yourself and your car
Work hard and live your life
Hi bro, I’m about registering on uber and they requested for comprehensive vehicle insurance. Does it mean third party or mini comprehensive vehicle insurance isn’t acceptable?

bros you are just wasting your happiness, because you are only working for the company and the client,, have in mind that everyone will try using you for their own personal profit.. December will be very profitable, do not play with it, because that's your only month to make up for the losses that will be coming your way from January....
My best advice is to gather enough money in December, then look for another business you are very sure of, sell the car plus your December money, you will have enough to start any business you can think of...

Ehailing will kill your car, keep you on one level forever and mess-up your mental health
Truly in d land of the living. Some will beg for bread and some will own bakeries distributing bread. In d same land ooo. Like other jobs don't mess with ur mental health. Ask d doctor who is over worked or losses his patients or d business development officers under mad faninacial target pressure. All jobs have their unique pressures. Stop looking down on what is feeding you. Be humble God will lift you up

Bro y r u angry. D business didn't work for you doesn't it mean it won't for another. I have used 5yrs doing this same business and I'm blessed beyond measure. No business I know would have helped me like this while retaining my capital and giving me profit also. Abeg relax joor

I greet all the comrades in the house 😊😊😊 I own a barely driven Camry 2010 4 plugs and I've been wanting to enroll and become a driver for like 2 years now but I keep getting discouraged due to stuffs I read here that ain't encouraging, so I've been adamant and went back to Ghana to hustle more, now I'm currently back again due to changes in Ghana now I'm committed to starting this driving fully, I just registered Indrive and Bolt today and they accepted me immediately within an hour so i got happy, any advice for me would be appreciated 🥺 and if possible I'll share my first day experience here as well, I plan starting off next week,I couldn't sell the car back then because I had it as a backup incase things goes south, so now I'm doing this and please welcome me as part of the family here 😊😊😊😁😁
You will be fine chief. Just ask your questions here if u need some advise. Men dey wey go guide u. You are highly welcome.

Unless that's a new protocol but as far as I know third party is allowed as well. Though I generally use comprehensive I used 3rd party a few years ago for 1 year without issues.

so tell me, what have ehailing job blessed you with? What have you accomplished or achieved since your 5 years of doing ehailing...
You might think you are growing, but trust me you are not,you are simply going in circles!!!

Ask yourself!!!, God4bid your car breaks down, will the current balance in your account feed you for a month?

The issue is you never took it as a business and you were ashamed of your craft. E hailing like any business is an actual business. Use a printing business for example. U get fixed assets, machinery office etc. And you produce everyday. Ur machine break done etc.

D car is ur machinery. U must ALWAYS maintain it. My car is overly sound even when I'm selling them of. I use a car for years on the platform n wen selling u won't know iz ever been used on e hailing. A car is like a woman u must care for it. Now imagine ur woman always vomiting cash. So extra care.

But with ehailing all your fixed assets are in one. THE CAR. it's your office, your printer (literally of cash grin), your generator etc. if you can't make it in ehailing you will most likely also not make it else where

I save bro. I have savings. I travel do u know I have been living better than my colleagues?. But you must master you cash flow. Cause u get it everyday every naira matters don't mind kumuyi that said 10k is negligible na dere I know say em no know wetin em dey talk.

Bro I'm grateful to God as for achievements if travelling abroad(abi southy and Ghana no be abroad wink)for holiday na achievement and changing cars for myself and buying a car for my wife. And being able ALWAYS to meet my need by God's grace without begging. Then I have really achieved alot.

Una just like to stress and wahala unasefs, I will be the last person to do that so called inspection.
I will only grudgingly do it when I won't be able to go online, inspection koor suspection niii.

I didn't and have never done any yeye lasdiri, well thas me shaaa before somebody will say I told him not to do it.

All they know is coming up with different levies just to extort people, look at how much we are renewing car particulars and compare with last two years and 5 years ago yet nothing significant to show for all these extortion.

I don't know why people don't even try to resist or ask government questions, they just come up with anything and throw at us and people will jumping on each other to do it.

I refused to do tinted permit, my guys run remove their nylons because they don't want to do the permit.

Fortunately for me it was suspended, I am waiting for them to come again and start talking about it but for now I don't and won't bother myself.

I agree with you bro. But there’re other things you need to consider. Like age, skills and skill set. How many work can you boldly say one is growing at in Nigeria?

What business can you boastfully say can give you the kind of returns ehailing is giving you? Terribly few

you are actually not getting any return in ehailing,, it might look like you are doing well, but in reality you are not making anything...
1) you ain't learning any skill or improving yourself anyway because the work and movement will not permit you to.
2)you cannot save for future because there's always one expenses you are trying to sort out, plus up coming school fees, house rent. Mechanic..
At the end of the years you have wasted, if anything goes wrong, even aboki selling iron condemn will be more better than you are.
Because you have wasted your whole life not acquiring any skills because of your busy working schedules, and you have also become poor because you couldn't save for the raining day after paying the exorbitant commission from the useless app company that still charges it's customers cheap fares at the detriment of your fuel and car, which you still end up fixing and maintaining from the little money you having!!!!

After this I'm not talking about this anymore,if you still don't get, then forget about it

So just curious as to know how; if he's actually growing or achieving? What yardstick do you suggest to measure ones progress in life? Like what and what he's supposed to have acquired since paying ones bills, eating and dressing well and having a happy family and not been a burden on one's family members and neighbours are just not enough.

Please don't buy EOD.

Get a car with a maximum of 1.8L engine size. The smaller the engine the better for the business(they consume less fuel).

Ensure all other components are working excellently (gear, AC, and of course engine) . Get a technician to check properly before buying( I recommend Autoconsult, he is a nairalander)

All the best
Hmm. I beg to differ. He inspected 2 vehicles for my colleague and I. And based on his report, we bought the cars. My colleague has been fixing issues he failed to notice since August till date. In fact, in his opinion, he feels the guy was bribed by the seller to say the car was okay.

The car he went to inspect for me, not up to one week of buying, we had to overhaul the engine. Sludge and all, e no see. So what kind of inspection was done?

So me I no wan hear anything about so called consultants inspecting cars if they’re just going to do rubbish.
