China has invested billions of dollars in Nigeria. They won’t sit idle and watch Trump bomb their investment into rubbles. Russia is an ally of China. Once is affects China, Russia is also affected.

So, while we don’t want any interference in the sovereignty of Nigeria, we must ensure we are prepared for all possible eventualities. We are dealing with a lunatic and that’s why we need all possible friends to stand without
Stop dreaming. China and Russia will only issue press release condemning the invasion and it ends there.

Before the buffoon called Trump started attacking Nigeria, he was threatening to attack Venezuela. Go and check out what Russia did in support of Venezuela that has now restrained US from attacking the country.
My point is, a country like Nigeria shouldn't be this weak.

I don't understand how these folks reason.

So if Trump decides to fight the terrorists in Nigeria, Russia or China will now counter attack?

Omo, God really create people.
Lol...Maybe they're just doing everything possible to be able to sleep better at night because I seriously don't understand their thought process.

Go and ask Israel why they ran and abandoned Iran. They know what they got from Iran.
Run how. Israel moved on to bigger things. Iran on the other hand is yet to recover from the humiliation. When last did the Terrorist leader issue amy threat.

US is not coming to fight terrorism, they are coming for a Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan type of invasion. If they truly want to fight terrorism, the best way to do that is by collaborating with our government and not telling us they are coming gun a blazing to do what we won’t like.
At least, the lai has shifted from "they are coming to stieal awa resources", resources that china is stiealing steadily while the feideral goivernment loiok the other way.

Maybe yeou n yeour faimily should reilocate to plateau or Benue State and pretiend to be Chiristians. Let's see if yeuu'll still be ailive after a couple of years.

I was in Makurdi for two weeks last month so it’s not a big deal to some of us. Everybody wants an end to the terrorism but a US invasion will not bring an end to the problem. It will only worsen it as the political instability that will follow the invasion will make the country ungovernable. The US cannot put boots on ground to man just a state in Nigeria not to talk of the entire stretch of North East and North Central.

They will simply bomb some few places, bomb Aso Rock and either kill or arrest the president and level stupid accusation against him. Thereafter, they will try impose a puppet who won’t enjoy national acceptance and even the control of our security forces. Then we go the Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Syria route where warlords take over territories in the absence of an effective central government.

China has invested over $23billion in Nigeria’s infrastructure in 2025 alone. The nonsense aids we get from US are not money but overpriced drugs and vaccines for HIV and polio. Nothing else.
Bro, China's investment in Nigeria is not for Nigerians benefits, but for themselves, that's not considered foreign aids.

Whatever China built in Nigeria is always 70% Chinese benefits and 30% Nigeria.

But the US sends actual financial aid without an added benefits to them, that is apart from the other investments they have in Nigeria.

They sent actual money to African governments for economic development. (You can't send 300 to 400 million dollars in government aids for drugs or vaccines).

Too bad your government doesn't say it publicly, as they spend it all on themselves.

How these evil APC people are trying to twist Trump's gesture into an invasion is what I don't understand
They are not twisting the gesture. Trump's statements can be reckless and careless. Did you see the tweet, i mean his reckless tweet.
What does this mean that "their troops have to enter the disgraced country guns a blazing,. That statement amounts to an invasion. Who American intervention help ? Na so them love the world, everything na national interest. When a nation builds up so much military hardware and nuclear arsenals, they start to behave like lunatics.

Which aid? Some of you are just so ignorant. The US does not send money to any government in Nigeria. What they do is to send over priced vaccines and HIV drugs. They then calculate the over priced amount and announce it as aid.

China built the Lagos- Ibadan railway, Lagos blue and red lines, Abuja- Kaduna railway and several other key roads and infrastructure too numerous to mention. So, who are the people using these asset? Chinese?

If only Trump can stay out and give the job to Benjamin Netanyahu to execute omo!!!!
The Islamic extremists and terrorists in Northern Nigeria will make a fool of Benjamin Netanyahu, ISWAP , Islamic Jihad and Boko haram are not like Hamas. These groups are faceless and dangerous, you cant compare them with Hamas, which is a political party in Gaza and its virtually its top leadership are well known including leaders of the AlQuds Brigade. You cant fight terrorism in a terrain you dont understand. Forget technology as long as you dont understand the terrain, you endanger your efforts.

This is a welcome development. While Nigeria should keep engaging the US government to iron things out, we should also be discussing alliance and military cooperation with foreign powers like Russia and China.
and you think if America come to finish off the terrorists in northern Nigeria, Russia and China will come to fight America because of shithole like Nigeria. Just be dreaming.

You're talking like China built those things without a price. Like its free for Nigeria. China don't even let a percentage of Nigerian labourers work in a company they built in Nigeria. It's always fulled with Chinese. You think China gave without taking?

Secondly, you talk about ignorance, but whenever the US sends money to African nations like Nigeria, there's always a tag.

For example, beginning of 2025 $280k(about #300mil) for planting water based fruits in Nigeria (because of the heat). $150mil in aids to Togo for economic development, $200mil to Uganda Economic development, $300mil to South Africa economic development. Around $400 to Nigeria.

Now apart from that USaid sends millions of dollars for Healthcare (that's what got you confused about the HIV stuff), for Water Sanitation, For poverty and food scarcity, etc.

The first time China tried something like this, they sent about $300milliion for economic development, for all African nations to share. That's what the US sends one African nation along for one purpose.

Furthermore, Search online, majority of Asians countries especially China, get Economically developed with major help from the US and the UN. Even Xi, the Chinese president attested to it in this year.

Too bad you're leaders never announced any monetary aids given for economic purposes because of greed.

That's why you think they only send health and HIV aids.
