raumdeuter:All these scheming and plotting for VP position that could have been gotten on a platter 2 years ago. But someone's ego was too big. Anyway that is past tense now. Tinubu will decide who will be VP in 2031. 2027 is gone. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:06pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
MonsieurCoder:Well the story of Obi and 2023 is not complete and not fully told What will be funny is if Obi now accepts to be Atikus VP in 2027, the same thing he rejected in 2023 All these governors in the SE dont want to fall into that same mistake again |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:14pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Obi left PDP less than a week before the convention When it was clear that he wouldn't be given VP, he left. If the SE was supposed to be VP, why didn't Atiku choose someone else from SE? Even Atiku himself said his regret was letting Obi go in 2023. The man took a his high risk. If he had gotten 500k votes nationwide, I'm sure we all will laugh. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:16pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
Tinubu better call whatever movement they have up north to order. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 8:22pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
izzou:Is Okowa not an igbo man? Atiku was forced by the party to pick a sitting southern governor (Udom/Wike/Okowa) in the PDP. They were the ones who had the money to bankroll the election. It was not personal just politics. Rather than negotiate his way back into power with Atiku as SGF or something else, he decided if it's not him let Tinubu win. Because while the average Obedient is politically naive and were just pawns, PO is politically shrewd and knew exactly what he was doing. He knew for a fact that he and Atiku shared the same voters base. He knew for a fact that him running will hurt Atiku more than it hurt Tinubu. He knew him running will cost Atiku that election. He knew he didn't have the votes to win but still did it anyway to satisfy his ego. Peter Obi is a political suicide bomber. I won't win you won't win too. |

MonsieurCoder:Atiku picked a SS VP to pacify Wike after rigging him out of the primaries. Wike was already angry that Atiku wanted to contest. Remember that Obi to wanted to contest. He bought the form. When he saw that Atiku was introducing SS VP to pacify Wike, he left Obi is a political suicide bomber to you today, because he got 6 million votes. What was his portfolio before 2023? Absolutely zero.. So if Obi decides to quit politics today, Atiku's career will be over? Think am nau. 2027 is before Atiku. He has the whole Southern Nigeria to pick from. If he likes, he should pick Okowa again, and come and tell us how Obi sabotaged him |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 8:27pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
MonsieurCoder:Peter Obi and all his supporters are Tinubu supporters. It's just a pity most of the obidients don't know they're working for Tinubu, Obi is playing them. |

Ellexy:See as this werey 'Honourable' said Trump wanted to attack Nigeria. That's what they must have told those mumu protesters. No difference from what Obidients also do regularly, twisting narratives to suit their heinous agendas. It's frightening that most Nigerians have no conscience, they see everything as a game. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 8:46pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
izzou:You are very smart person and that's why I am replying this post. Because I cannot beleive my eyes here that you said Atiku was trying to pacify Wike with his VP pick. Wike? Wike that fought Atiku with everything he had in that same party before and after the primaries that is who Atiku will seek to satisfy? Are you serious? Atiku was givien a choice of Wike/Okowa/Udom to pick as VP, why didn't he pick Wike then? Abi you think Wike didn't want to be VP? Atiku needed money to bankroll his election and only a sitting governor of an oil rich state had the resources he needed. It was not personal. Stop dropping reason and logic to argue emotionally to defend PO. That's not how you win in politics. Obi is a political suicide bomber to you today, because he got 6 million votes. What was his portfolio before 2023? Absolutely zero.. So if Obi decides to quit politics today, Atiku's career will be over? Think am nau.Sabotage is sabotage. It did not matter if PO ended with 500k or 6M votes. He knew for a fact that he couldn't win and those votes were more likely to go to Atiku than Tinubu. That is sabotage. Tinubu by picking Muslim/Muslim was clear indication that he was not interested in the Eastern votes and the Northern christian votes. Those were going to be an important voting block for the opposition party. PO strategy was to capture that base. A base that had historically always gone to PDP. He knew what he was doing. His campaign was clearly targeting voters in these 2 blocks + other Nigerians who were dissatisfied with the other 2 options. 2027 is before Atiku. He has the whole Southern Nigeria to pick from. If he likes, he should pick Okowa again, and come and tell us how Obi sabotaged himThat opportunity is gone. The Eastern block that was historically PDP is now almost entirely APC. That ship has sailed. You can thank your political suicide bomber PO for that. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 8:55pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
MonsieurCoder:Atiku needed a sitting Oil state governor to bankroll him, only to get 6 million plus Then the one who didn't have a state HoR to bankroll him, got the exact 6 million, and you think Obi is to be blamed One fact you fail to realize is that 2023 had a lot of new voters...A lot. Many first time voters showed up because in a long while, there was a 3 man race. If Obi deputized Atiku, many people who voted in 2023, would not have voted. Obi was nothing to you, and PDP as a whole till he decided to contest and peaked . If he was that important, Atiku would have done anything to keep him. He didn't. I'm glad you said the ship has sailed. Let Mbah, Umahi and the rest keep waiting for 2031. And I am very sure APC will flip the script again by then. We all will be fine, one way or the other. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 9:07pm On Nov 08, 2025 |
izzou:Obi was nothing to PDP but they picked him as VP in 2019 against the wishes of the SE PDP bloc who said PO was a governor with APGA and a new entrant to PDP and those who had been in PDP longer deserved the VP spot more than him? I don't blame you people at all. Stop this nonsense of new voters. Atiku needed an extra 1M votes to seal that election. The "old" voters from the eastern (SE/SS) and northern christian bloc were more than enough to get him double of that. Atiku underestimating how much damage PO could do to him does not change the facts on the ground PO intentionally sabotaged Atiku in 2023 out of pure pettiness and spite. If only you know the number of PDP delegates that were sent to PO to talk him out of the sabotage that he was doing before that election but he refused. Carry on and support your candidate but I will continue to say exactly who he is -- political suicide bomber (if no be me you no go get am too. we go die together). |

The kind of foolishness one sees here is mind boggling. A man that joined an irrelevant party and contested for presidency garnered 6M votes on his first attempt is a political stooge. Not Tinubu, Atiku or any politician alive in this country will amass such number if they joined a party with no structure. That is a man people rallied for to make the president; the people’s choice, not useless politicians hiding under party structure. PDP should continue with people like elder whose political ideology heavily relies on stomach infrastructure and not logic. A smart party will recall Obi, hand him the ticket and pair him with an influential northern governor for the VP slot. |
