The organic truth is if money brings happiness in marriage we wouldn't see what Ned and Regina are passing through today what about Bill Gate, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos etc who's today are all divorcee! As a partner marry someone who you are a friend to so as their could be compatibility through companionship and intimacy!

Ofcause there's more to happiness than money- nobody is arguing that. But money it self brings a whole lots of happiness

I think he is saying don't ultimately faith in it. Many go I to things believing once I get married to a rich man or make more my happiness is guaranteed. It can bring happiness to a degree yes but ultimate guarantee is not assured. Problem no de finish to start with. You may not have food or rent kind of problem but you will certainly have a new kind of problem.
