Small form wey dem catch, dem don dey run Sanchez is better than Raya talk. According to them, Raya is having better stat because he plays with better defenders. I thought Caicedo is the best DM in the world.. I thought Timber no fit lace James boot I thought Cucurella is a more solid defender than Calafiori. Let's not even talk about Fofana and Colwill. |

iamoyindamola:It wasn't a bad performance generally bar the all over the place Defence we had last night sha...on the issues of "Damaging" this is actually very damaging result to lose 3 points in added time is bad for morale coupled with if City win today they will come within 4 points of Arsenal with difficult run of matches to come ( Spurs, Villa, Chelsea)... Am not holding my breath... |

iamoyindamola:We made only one substitution throughout that game and that came in the 82nd minute. We needed fresh legs to see us through because the entire team was exhausted. That same front 3 played only 4 days ago in the UCL. The more I rewatched that game, the more I realized we messed up with how we finished that game, particularly with our lack of substitutions. Those boys were spent and that led to a lack of concentration. Everyone is saying thank God for international break. The problem is, the bulk of our players will feature for their national teams, so I don’t know how much rest they get. However, we should get many players back and that should help. I hope he goes into the Spuds fixture with a strong mentality, otherwise, we will have a difficult end to the year. |

Roland17:The reason I am happy for the international break is because since the efl match we looked fatigued and depleted The other reason is because of the incoming players from injuries, we are expecting 3-4 key players including Jesus If you look at the game yesterday we suffered in the attack even though our once reliable defense failed us Sunderland had 2 shots and scored both If we look at it, it's one of those days in football I want to believe our next game won't be like this |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 5:18pm On Nov 09, 2025 |
Roland17:we need maximum point against spurs and Chelsea. Yesterday our attacking option on the bench was two teenagers who i think that match would have been too physical for them, but norgaard should have been substituted earlier. Our defence was chaotic during the later part of the match, just like it have been in the last 2 matches before Sunderland. Zubimendi, Rice, Merino, Gabriel and Saka are they only ones I think will get more minutes in this break. If Odegaard, Gyokeres and Martinelli can be available against spurs with other first team players being available without injuries from this break, then we can have a good run again. |

iamoyindamola:how the team responds against spurs will show if we're really into this title race like we think we are.if we can get a win against spurs, then the confidence will be high against Chelsea cus more players will be available too. |

This is why I want city to win, smaller clubs will find it easy to beat them once they hold haaland unlike lfc We are still in control until apari crack his team |

For failing to beat this Liverpool, dem suppose hold Arteta's salary for 6 months make him mind dey. |

iamoyindamola:When e reach Arteta turn now, he will become a mental midget, field 3 defensive midfielders and play a low block against Liverpool. Honestly if he can’t navigate this November and December, we are in serious trouble because that bald-bipolar is the worst nightmare.. |

iamoyindamola:Oyin, I wish I have your confidence. This season’s November/ December scares the living daylight out of me. I really don’t trust Arteta’s approaches to fixtures against big teams. If he can’t beat Spuds and Chelsea, I think we are in trouble. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 8:45pm On Nov 09, 2025 |
Roland17:I think we will edge the 2 clubs, I am concerned about spuds because it's the NLD Chelsea will collect their normal dosage for sure, we just need to take every game at a time |

iamoyindamola:You dont want City breathing down your neck. They know how to sustain a winning run.. As it stands they have the best attacking transition and their defense isn't looking bad as initially thought. The only thiythat will save us from them is if Haaland gets a set back. I am sure it will cause a lot of damage tactically for Pep. As for Arsenal, the odds look good despite the blip. But we have to stay healthy. Six attacking payers injured is not good for our progress. |

mostob:The season was still new, neither team knew the strength of the other so they both played defensive games. Besides the team had not properly gelled at the time. Liverpool did not out play Arsenal in any way and if not for that freekick, we would have shared the spoils. We will meet next year at the Emirates, dem go collect! |

Roland17:For some reason I'm also not worried even though we're just 4 points ahead. I am even more worried about Brentford and Aston Villa that we'll be facing thereafter than the London derbies we'll have after the Int'l break. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 8:23am On Nov 10, 2025 |
dominique:Exactly I am more worried about smaller teams approach to games than Chelsea or spuds That's also why I am not worried about city because the same treatment will befall them against the smaller teams |

Roland17:They lost, I won't make excuses for them even if I consider them wasteful in 2nd half... Like I always say to you American football ( it's OS) is very different from the European League where there are tiers or stratas... Excuses - Take for example Kansas ( a much more bigger side) led the League, never lost at home throughout the season and are favourites for the Title but lost to lowly Gotham FC in the 1st round that secured last playoff place (no 8 position) at Home for the first time this season and are out ....To say Jonas bottled it is nothing but for banter sake, it's like saying Villa, Brighton or Newcastle bottled the EPL 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 cos Waves aren't even among the top 5 favourite for the Title ( Where Kansas, Pride, Spirit, Thorns are )......Even if I expected them to do better than losing in the first round ( their regular season placements/ position really affected them with the seeding away from home).... Losing to Thorns in added time that has make the last four for 4 of the last 5 seasons is no shame They lost which is very painful for me ( cos I was tipping Dali for MVP against Thembi)... |
