Hmm. I beg to differ. He inspected 2 vehicles for my colleague and I. And based on his report, we bought the cars. My colleague has been fixing issues he failed to notice since August till date. In fact, in his opinion, he feels the guy was bribed by the seller to say the car was okay.

The car he went to inspect for me, not up to one week of buying, we had to overhaul the engine. Sludge and all, e no see. So what kind of inspection was done?

So me I no wan hear anything about so called consultants inspecting cars if they’re just going to do rubbish.

you are actually not getting any return in ehailing,, it might look like you are doing well, but in reality you are not making anything...
1) you ain't learning any skill or improving yourself anyway because the work and movement will not permit you to.
2)you cannot save for future because there's always one expenses you are trying to sort out, plus up coming school fees, house rent. Mechanic..
At the end of the years you have wasted, if anything goes wrong, even aboki selling iron condemn will be more better than you are.
Because you have wasted your whole life not acquiring any skills because of your busy working schedules, and you have also become poor because you couldn't save for the raining day after paying the exorbitant commission from the useless app company that still charges it's customers cheap fares at the detriment of your fuel and car, which you still end up fixing and maintaining from the little money you having!!!!

After this I'm not talking about this anymore,if you still don't get, then forget about it

My guy, an even senior IT guy, working with Uba and mtn.... He wan start uber as i dey follow you talk.... Every business has operational costs, haven't you heard that b4? Abi na porn you dey act? Even that, you go spend money on ur body to stay healthy and fit.... Hence why i suggested EOD, cus I've seen that cars with expensive partz tend to eat away at ur profit even tho it's 1.8L....cheap part always outweighs small fuel profits.. I greet all the comrades in the house 😊😊😊 I own a barely driven Camry 2010 4 plugs and I've been wanting to enroll and become a driver for like 2 years now but I keep getting discouraged due to stuffs I read here that ain't encouraging, so I've been adamant and went back to Ghana to hustle more, now I'm currently back again due to changes in Ghana now I'm committed to starting this driving fully, I just registered Indrive and Bolt today and they accepted me immediately within an hour so i got happy, any advice for me would be appreciated 🥺 and if possible I'll share my first day experience here as well, I plan starting off next week,I couldn't sell the car back then because I had it as a backup incase things goes south, so now I'm doing this and please welcome me as part of the family here 😊😊😊😁😁

The issue is you never took it as a business and you were ashamed of your craft. E hailing like any business is an actual business. Use a printing business for example. U get fixed assets, machinery office etc. And you produce everyday. Ur machine break done etc.

D car is ur machinery. U must ALWAYS maintain it. My car is overly sound even when I'm selling them of. I use a car for years on the platform n wen selling u won't know iz ever been used on e hailing. A car is like a woman u must care for it. Now imagine ur woman always vomiting cash. So extra care.

But with ehailing all your fixed assets are in one. THE CAR. it's your office, your printer (literally of cash ), your generator etc. if you can't make it in ehailing you will most likely also not make it else where

I save bro. I have savings. I travel do u know I have been living better than my colleagues?. But you must master you cash flow. Cause u get it everyday every naira matters don't mind kumuyi that said 10k is negligible na dere I know say em no know wetin em dey talk.

Bro I'm grateful to God as for achievements if travelling abroad(abi southy and Ghana no be abroad )for holiday na achievement and changing cars for myself and buying a car for my wife. And being able ALWAYS to meet my need by God's grace without begging. Then I have really achieved alot.

People in uk, Canada Australia do this same E-hailing as full time jobs and take care of their families... For naija, e even pay pass most office work... You feel it's something not worth committing to becus? People kpai themselves going to office in suit for 30days...some commute with bus from egbeda to island, to collect 150 180k....to you now, that person is doing fine abi? Sometimes when I see some comments here I just dey shake head dey laugh, hustle wey you dey earn like 40k-60k on average, 15k-30k on a very bad day, with savings of 4m-6m yearly driving ur own car... for a country like 9ja where 65% of its population lives below 2.15 dollars per day, less than 100k per month.. I will say that an average e-hailing driver wey know wetin he dey do, earns more than 90% of Nigerian population..

There many people living in Ikotun, Sango OTA that are working in ikoyi, VI.

They get home 11/12pm to be back on the road by 4am on 200k or less salary. But because someone sat at my back and I'm driving them means it's not a noble job even if I earn more than them?

Me personally no fit even do 9 to 5 for naija again, even if you offered, unless it'll give me enough time to do my uber hustle too... Or pay me well over 700/800k...the nonsense that comes with 9 to 5 in Nigeria is too much, country with no proper labor laws, you gi chop disrespect taya.... For my car, if passenger talk anyhow, i drop you by the road immediately... 2 times i don carry passenger wey do strong head, I carry dem go drop for police station(typical Nigerian wey she be, they always think police will side them, becus to them I'm the driver(low guy) lol, but the reverse is always the case(importance of dressing good) e shock them... But I'll rather that than chop disrespect or entertain vulgarity or things escalating... 9 to 5 go swallow everything, nothing go sup, ur self esteem will gradually plummet... Any job is capable of whiling away ur years if you don't take minded steps to change the course of ur destiny... Complacency happens to everyone in every job... Personally i like the fact people look down on the job(allows me to play poor to escape police, frsc , etc(unless them catch me for days wey i dresss well, 😂then my poor card won't work)) , nigerians generally look down on people rendering services, not only uber sef, na wetin i don notice be that..
