This one could be understandable. Probably those copies would be sent to different sections or departments AND if you don't submit up to 10-copies, they would have to make the copies themselves.

A lot of them don’t have official email address for the school. Even third party email that they have is either not working or someone has forgotten the password or gone with the password when leaving the system.

More so, they are kwarapt. They love to minute on those cvs and attach several business cards to it from influential people.

So many Nigerians have lost better opportunities abroad due to this old school way of mailing correspondences.
Universities abroad don’t know which email to send verifications requests to. When they even know, it returns mailerdemon because domain names created for those schools are no longer active.
Many scholarship opportunities lost. Many admissions forfeited.

There was a year I went to my poly to follow up on an email a university from abroad sent to the school. The school said the person with password was not around and won’t be back until after two weeks. I nearly fainted.
