Have 1 child and train the child well. Let the child develop self sufficient abilities and good social skills to connect well with others and he or she will be just fine.

Having 1 or 2 children improves the well being of the family economically, psychologically and emotionally. Anything more than this be prepared for long term night mare for everyone.

Birthrate shouldn't be low and it shouldn't be high. I am not saying the birthrate should be low. I am only saying it should be optimum. It is still better to have a low birthrate than having a high birthrate in a country like Nigeria. Europe and Asia are currently doing great. They are still far from facing a shortage of human beings. Your government in Nigeria is not performing and you want people to keep giving birth to more children to face more hardship.This is wickedness and selfishness.

So the male child would have a younger or older brother as the case may be. Same with the girls. The older brother would have a baby sister to pamper. Same with the sister, she would have a younger brother to look after

Real extreme wickedness. Comparing Nigeria to Europe, Asia or America is madness. Most people give birth here and do not get involved in the children upbringing thereby giving us touts, addicts and criminals to be dealing with. Even the financially stable only gives money and do not know what their kids are doing.

Best unorthodox advice ever! This is why I still feel grateful whenever I think about what my father did for us. If God has let him stay alive and watch us grow, we would have been in a better place in all aspects of life.

But because of my parents' understanding of this logic, I have with me 8 siblings who got my back. 8 people plus a mother — they are the reasons I keep going even when I feel suicidal. They are the reason I don't have to keep fooling around because I need "real friends." I've got a whole nation behind me.

Our parents have always preached to us about the importance of sticking together no matter where we are, and I have promised to keep to that principle. And I do hope nothing, no woman, man, or demon tries to come between us.

Humans and insecurity. If you have two, what happens if one 'goes'? The remaining becomes an only child again.

Then you go for three and if it's one sex, you try again, hoping it will change. Then they become four.
Four is just one number away from five. And it does so happen that there's a 'mistake' and five becomes six.

Another type of insecurity hits you - insecurity of the near future, especially if you're not rich.

While he made sense, one child is a child. Two or more as you can have is good o, but be ready to put in the work. You don't know what makes people have one child or the number they have.
