Theflint1:Their hate for wike is making them act like the vice admiral and his soldiers did the right thing. This isn't a fvcking military regime. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:48pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Theflint1:All those "number 1 administrator of the FCT " na just make-me-feel good title. Wike is the minister of FCT which is at best an equivalent of a governor of Abuja and communities around it. Military officers don't answer to him; he's nowhere in their line of command/reporting line. If Wike had issues with him, he knows the normal civil means of getting his grievance against the officer addressed. Wike has been a governor for 8 years and he knows even GOCs of army divisions in his state don't answer to him. |

izzou:Lets assume the unseen Oga is the CNS. When 2 elephants fight(Wike and CNS) its the grass (officer) that they will use his head to break coconut When Wike and the Oga settle with a few billions going both ways, they will claim no one sent the officer to the extent he carried out the order |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 6:50pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
sleekdot:Wike is a minister not the President. He has no power to fire the military officer. Trying to compare this matter to the witch-hunt of DJT is a false equivalence. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 6:50pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
TemporaryHansel:Ideally military officers cannot be allowed to move like that, even in our less than ideal circumstance, it's odd. |

Wike sef dey shout say things cannot continue like this in this country ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Trevor012(m): 6:51pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Ellexy:The law is also the law. You cannot be breaking laws and be shouting you are following orders. Wike has every legal right to have access to that property. FCDA already went peacefully but were chased away. That action angered wike which likely resulted in the provoked outburst. |

Melvyn11:What happens to Sgt Rogers who public admitted killing Kudirat Abiola and others, claiming he carried out a direct order to kill? I will even bet on Tinubu sacking Wike than that Officer getting punished. He was simply obey the orders of his superior, that is what Military people do.. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:52pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
raumdeuter:And that's the point you're missing The CNS cannot throw his boy under the bus. He sent him there, and any issue Wike has is against him, and not the boy. In my small time on this earth, I have mingled with these guys couple of times, and that's why I laugh when I see some funny takes, like Ibime saying LG chairman fit slap Soldier ![]() As long as you obeyed your orders, nothing fit happen. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 6:53pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Not answering to him is one thing, but land matters in the FCT is under his jurisdiction or will they now say because they don't answer to him now takeover the government quarters claiming order? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 6:54pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Ellexy:Wike is a minister in the good books of the president, On his recommendation a State governor was suspended for an Administrator until the governor came to beg |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:55pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Trevor012:True. In a normal country, that shouldn't happen. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 6:56pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
TrebleChamp:This is a joke taken too far Tinubu will sack Wike for some officer we dont know. Even if its CNS didnt he fire the former CNS a few weeks ago Tinubu will sack one of his biggest political ally who delivered for him and will continue to deliver for some unknown soldiers |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 6:56pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
TemporaryHansel:@Theflint1 Instead of them asking the right questions they're saying wike should've met with the admiral instead of going there to shout. Why didn't the admiral meet wike or go to court to stop his property from being seized? He doesn't have any right to deploy soldiers there when no court gave such order. This is not a military regime. People should stop allowing their hatred for wike cloud their judgement. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:58pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Sahara reporters is saying Wike actually revoked the title documents of the land and reallocate same to his associates. So for those saying the military guys are there illegally, it may actually be a case of Wike trying to forcefully grab the land as usual but met his match on this one.

izzou:All those junior officers killed for coups were also carrying out orders na, Why didn't they pardon them? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:00pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Theflint1:Take Ur time to read this. Wike is clearly grabbing the land and he's being resisted by the military. https://saharareporters.com/2025/11/11/exclusive-how-fct-minister-wike-revoked-30-hectares-land-owned-top-military-officers?fbclid=IwdGRleAOAV7lleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEeurDs6t6braoTRNSIIl_ju5iw65aPHooEwDKOPlx4q9zTR_he3UmG1J0D9VM_aem_0lEZV73Z10Ytp6RT-dFYFA Jurisdiction kor, gerrymandering ni. Wike knows Nigerians are gullible and will swallow anything he says as the minister, that's why he's putting up the show. |

BlueRayDick:Even if this was the case, there are channels through which they seek redress. But then again, where illegality is normalized, what then is legal or proper? Make dem carry go sha, I like as the small boy take handle am...I wish he was stup1d enough to slap the boy. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 7:03pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
izzou:Will they inform us when they do? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 7:03pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Trevor012:Knowing Wike, he acted purely out of impulse and old habits. He’s used to throwing his weight around and expecting everyone to bow instantly, but this time, he met someone who actually understands chain of command and the limits of civilian authority over the military. That naval officer followed due processz, he’s bound by military protocol, not political intimidation. If Wike truly believes the officer overstepped and broke the law you you're alluding, then the same rule of law he often brags about should be his route, not theatrics. Power doesn’t mean you bulldoze everyone, sometimes, it’s about knowing where your authority stops but with Wike, he doesn't care. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:05pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
This is whom u people are pulling off cloth to defend. Shior! 🤮 Person Wan use illegality backed by executive power to convert lands and another authority decided to use illegality cancel his own illegality out.

raumdeuter:Again not the same issue. He was involved in the Rivers matter because he's at the centre of it. Simple. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:07pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Theflint1:Why Wike no carry them go court as a lawyer that that believes in Nigerian judiciary that he is? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 7:10pm On Nov 11, 2025 |
Ellexy:How did he an ex governor became at the center of it, which other non governor has that power?. All the power Wike has right now is because he is an ally of Tinubu. So if he can flex that presidential power in a State to remove an elected governor, why cant he use the same power with with an appointed soldier |
