The military and other security agencies are creatures of constitution and are bound to obey constituted authority where it's needed. Because military has been dabbling into politics through brutal force for many years and mostly in Africa have made us to believe they are above the law.

It's sad that we encourage lawlessness in this country & expect the country to progress. A commissioned Naval officer has better responsibilities than standing as a security man in an undeveloped property of a former CNS. Soldiers should concentrate on their duties of defending the country from external aggression instead of interrupting pubic officers from during their jobs.

and the Boy stood up to him, telling Sanwo-Olu he is not a Bloody soldier which Sanwo called him.

If a Soldier can stand up to a State Governor, who is Wike, a mere Appointee?

Please everything should not begin and end with politics.When are we going to get it right in this country, a serving military officer doing gateman for a retired senior officer at a time Nigeria need the services of our military men.

Without Nigeria there can't be Nigeria army, Nigeria air force etc

Its one thing for them to be protecting the looters

Its another thing for the looters to be calling you "Big Fool" to your face.

I hope Tinubu has the wisdom and wise counsel to demand a remorseful public apology from Wike for this singular act.

Wike crossed the red- line when he called a uniform commissioned officer "A Big Fool"

After the Officer had introduced himself and told him he was only taking orders.

That was when Wike crossed the line, Everything else can be forgiven.....But that statement "You are a big fool" I dont know how that Officer took it calmly.

If Tinubu doesn't make Wike apologize to that particular officer publicly. His whole government will be seen as a joke !! He has to step up as commander in Chief and demand Wike to offer a public apology. He has to be made to eat the humble pie. Everybody saw it the whole world saw it, the officers,the retired officers,the veterans, the rank and file....they all saw it. Tinubu has to move quick and move fast.

I commend the training they are giving these officers.

I want to read about the punishment of the soldier and his superior on this platform, if we are being serious. Enforcing illegality and expecting to be treated with dignity. Are you kidding me?

I support the FCT Minister's actions 100%. Did that soldier have the right to be there and also prevent the Minister's access to the land? How dare he? What are we even talking about in this country? Is this a military regime? What a country.
