Peter Obi Reacts To Super Eagles Skipping Training Over Allowance by fergie001(op): 11:46am On Nov 12, 2025
It is truly unfortunate that our Super Eagles who consistently give their best in representing our dear nation, are being owed their allowances.

We always seem to find money to waste on needless lavish spending and political patronage, yet we cannot pay those who patriotically raise our flag, bring us pride, and serve with dedication. That is what is found in a “now disgraced country”.

When those who serve their country are not treated with dignity, it sends the wrong message to our youth, that hard work and service are not rewarded. Those who represent Nigeria deserves to be paid promptly and treated with respect.
We must do better.

A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

What's the essence of calling the country disgraced country?
Can't you make a point insult politicians without insulting the country?
Is this also part of patriotism?

They will not call you to order, If someone insult you now, ur e-warriors will look for who to on hotspot for them so they will start attacking people online.

Somehow we got this weird idea that we can put an unrighteous man in power and demand righteousness from him. This is crazy.

The thieving political glass will always make money available to waste on needless lavish spending and political patronage, while ignoring citizens who do their best to project the image of the country.
Doctors, soldiers, lecturers, sports men and women, poor masses, and many more keep struggling to survive, while the government keeps borrowing to loot.

Skipped training. huh
There should be no excuse for this.

All hands must be on deck to ensure S/Eagles focus & deliver on the critical task of winning the Playoffs.

Just imagine what APC reduced our country to. Aside from being called poverty capital of the world, Nigeria is called a disgraced country. Shame on our horrible leaders and their supporters.

In as much as baba is also talking from a political standpoint rather than that of true patriotism/love of the country, he isn't wrong after all.

"He is bitter, just like a serial loser that he is. You can see bitterness all over him. He was putting his posters everywhere as if he is a candidate in this election. I saw him begging his community people not to let him down. And because of that we in APGA left his polling unit for him and concentrated on the four wards in his community, we won all the four wards in his own community. Unfortunately for him, the polling unit we left for him, he still couldn't win it, APC defeated him in his own polling unit......

When you hear that footballers play for free, then look for Gabon, Equitorial Guinea and such tiny countries with one or two big players, who also sponsor their national teams. European countries, plan, budget and pay their players appropriately.

If your country is failing, admit it and hold the leaders responsible.

Why do we always like to blame the victims haba.
NFF according to report don dey owe super eagles players match bonuses, camp bonuses etc since 2019 (when Amaju was still NFF president), i mean since the days of Mikel Obi and you're telling them to play for pride.
If they don't use this opportunity to collect part of the moneys tell me when they'll get the money they worked for?
