Nigeria is this underdeveloped because of folks like you, who revel mediocrities instead of calling them out so they can do better.

I don't collect faac allocations & taxes so don't expect me to build one, y'all should keep celebrating nonsense.

Pathetic lots🤮

Ibadan circular road

“I will not speak with the protesters anywhere because some people are sponsoring them, what I will do is to come to the area myself and engage with the real people in the area.

I have also heard all the names you are calling me, a thief, a land grabber, etc but I know issues like this come with leadership and I am not bothered

I want to thank those who have sent private messages to me to show support, I am also human and sometimes those abuses get to me emotionally and it pains me but some of the messages I received have given me strength”

- Governor Seyi Makinde
Cc:Ogunmiloro Kenny Samson wall

Well all the issues surrounding circular road bothers on the below prongs and u can draw your conclusions.
1.Development
2.Politics
3.Vested interest
4.Masses
5.Land grabbers
6.Economic factors
Above all 2027 and 2027 and still 2027 will be the major factor in the coming days as regard any issues that come out from Oyo state s
It is actually land grabbing based on the Governor's antecedents. A circular road of 113 km stretch, the governor now want to take 500 meters (breath) on each side of the road as corridors. Haba.
Those whose houses were demolished to construct the 113 km road are still in pain, and now the Governor wants to seize another 500 meters each on both sides of 113km road? How many plots of land is that? Very very massive..

It will be good to know the cost of the project as that will also enlighten the people of Oyo about how much they spent to get the infrastructure.

It will be good to know before we start celebrating.

History has taught us that, many white elephant projects are used to siphon states funds.
It will be good to know how much he paid my family the Adogba who own the land. Land grabber

I am from Ibadan and that was our family land. We had a Total petrol station, offices and a mosque.
Richtaiwo:
Are you from Oyo?

If not, why crying more than the bereaved?

He seized our land at Adogba which we didn't mind for the greater good but he should have paid us a just compensation. He demolished our mosque and when MURIC started to raise cain, he quickly built a new mosque not to far from our property to pacify the worshippers. He even had the audacity to name the mosque after himself until the local worshippers raised hell again and renamed it. Such a pathetic land grabbing governor

He is So obsessed with the issue of land, even NIHORT land, which belongs to the federal government, is not exempted. The Trans Amusement Park at Agbowo was taken. His developers were selling the land for 40 Million per plot as far back as 2023.
This issue of the circular road will be his downfall in 2027. People built houses on their land, you grabbed and demolished them, and want to give the land to developers to resell… weird..

If he's performed and still performing worderfully, why are his people protesting then. Is there something we need to know that we don't know?
Yes, there are lots of things you need to know that you don't. I think first of it all is to always read and understand any news not just the headline.

The protest is about the expansion of the circular road which the protester say it's a way of land grabbing.

Second of it is that, there is nothing you can do in life to satisfy human beings.

People should go and see the bus terminus in Ojo area.

It's a ghost of itself.

The Governor would sink massive taxpayer's money for political gain to build a bus terminal which would be left unadministered by the same Govt. They even built a facility for "club" and "bar", go and check for yourself and see what a waste the structure is becoming.

Iwo Road bus terminal will follow the same direction.

Ask Tinubu for the cost of the Coastal Road as well as the cost of fuelling a 70 vehicle convoy when he's on the road.
