N CodeTemplarr:Troops of the Nigeria Army are in battle with boko haram and bandits 2,4,7 even when you are at sleep and when you are doing stunts in the other room. The only reason bandits overwhelm the army is still the same bad equipment, poor renumeration, shortage of personnel, caused by the same government you defend shamelessly. |

ddippset:Stupid lies. How rich are the bandits and their sponsors that they will have better funding than a multi-billion dollar funded army? |

horlando30:But he did make a call, and passed it to the young officer. He just didn't get a favourable answer from the other end of the call, else the young officer and his colleagues would have stepped back. |

CodeTemplarr:The owner of the land is an ex naval chief, so whatever way they handle the case, it will have a lot to say on the future of today's naval officers. Remember an injury to one is an injury to all is one statement the military men hold dearly to heart |

ALTERNATEID:Is it not banana republic already? You are just realising? Why will a minister disgrace himself publicly? Shamelessly? If he sit down in his office and sort the issue out with phone calls and paperwork is it a bad idea? Does he have to go there and disgrace himself? |

ALTERNATEID:And Wike does not have houses anywhere in Nigeria that the two bulldozer can not go to with a lorry load of soldiers and pull down. Make una dey fan the flames of chaos you hear. |
| Re: It's an honour to serve in the Military, respect the Uniform - Defence HQs by otipoju(m): 7:37pm On Nov 12, 2025 |
horlando30:Wike came with two bulldozer to demolish somebody's sweat...not just anyone, a vice Admiral and former chief of Naval Staff. He should have persisted and see if he will go home in one piece. Soldiers sign up to die and are trained to embrace death as a hazard of their job. Wike loves life and power. The software running in both men are different. That is why Wike mad sure he was deescalating the tension by even pulling back, hitting and smacking his security detail. Bra never ready to die. Once soldiers snap he will understand sey him be bloody civilian to them. |

horlando30:No officer is too junior to a bloody civilian not even a Lt or second Lt. Do you realised Wike put a call through to the Chief of Defence Staff and had to back off when he realized that even the CDS couldn't make the officer to back down. No minister can give order to a military officer against the order of his superior ( A general ) except the president who is CIC. |

Now let me educate you a little. A General is a General serving or retired. That's why the retired CNS in question is been given a Navy Lt as his Chief Security Officer...Let me ask you a question when Wike called the CDS did anything change? No horlando30: |

ALTERNATEID:See this one, If you and your Wike respect official procedure you would have confronted who ever put the young officer there and not the officer himself for obstructing FCT officials. |
| Re: It's an honour to serve in the Military, respect the Uniform - Defence HQs by horlando30: 1:37am On Nov 13, 2025 |
stainzville:Which is wrong, no retired general should have orderly that is a relic of military rule. Only the president should have government sponsored guards, and that should be DSS officer not even militaty. Once you retire, you should be paying for your own private security. Imagine the number of soldiers wasting away guarding retired generals been paid by the govt. These guys should be in sambisa fighting not acting as private guards to retired men. That is a waste of the country resources. Not even the American VP has govt security one year after leaving office and that is a very rich country. I wonder what the national assembly is doing about this. This practice must stop. |

uniquetechng:I shouldnt respond to you because of that careless statement you made "bloody civilian" but you will think you are making a point. Military is a profession like every other profession in the society. A soldier is not superior to any other citizen. You are paid to work for the civil authority. In government hierichy the CDS reports to the president through the minister of defence who is his supervisor. Remember your annual budget is reviewed and presebted by him which pays your salary. This is a civil society not a banana republic with no order. All soldiers including their superiors serve at the mercy of the presidents and the govt. Wake up this is 2025! |

horlando30:In my previous response to you I clearly pointed out that the Armed Forces take orders from the CIC not from the ministers therefore Wike insulting the officer in question in public was wrong and uncouth. No military general serve at the mercy of the FCT minister, I have friends who were my classmates in school that are Brigadier Generals while one is a Lt. Colonel. Like I said no general will take order from Wike or any minister. |

| Re: It's an honour to serve in the Military, respect the Uniform - Defence HQs by horlando30: 2:12am On Nov 13, 2025 |
uniquetechng:And he shouldnt have to take order from wike, he is just FCT minister but the generals will take orders from minister of defence a civilian as given by the president or anybody he delegates it to. That is my point, it is a civil rule no longer dictatorship. Even the generals serve the civilian constituted authority which includes the president, the national assembly and the court. |
