This has really changed how I view farming generally, and backyard farming in particular.

And now I can say this - no turning back 😁

And the Baba of them all... apparently, this one is an offshoot from one of those we just harvested, and it was buried so deep, we nearly missed it.

Thankfully, my farm hand noticed something else and he began to dig around it, and this massive yam emerged from the womb of the earth 😁😊

The ground is fertile, after one or two years planting, your yam will not be as big as that, you will start see as small as the size of your penis

The land is fertile, true, but I think it's also because we planted the yams where the tendrils had a good chance to grow very tall. We planted it around a massive 25 foot high steel tank stand.
