When it comes to burden and taxation Yekini is world class, but when it comes to governance, project/expense choices or interventions, yekini is something else. They will tax your hustle then go stone a spirit in arabic desert, buy ram and rice, pay imams, grant islamic amnesty, loot, and waste. |

Good.... It'll be unfair to tax local workers while freelancers are not taxed. Take for instance, I work as a customer care representative for company-A in Canada remotely while in Nigeria.... Nigerian government wants to tax those companies or countries to remit tax to Nigeria. Apparently, Nigerians who do this remote jobs pay tax to those countries but not to Nigeria. |

To implement taxation it's not difficult for the government Only if they channel the same energy and fast implementation to governance and security, Nigeria would have been better |

FG should first study how taxes are protected from corruption in the saner climes before following their steps..u can't force citizens to pay taxes yet no tangible improvement on the economy or the living conditions of citizens |

Hahahahahahahaha.... 1. But we can not track the excesses of government spending that have zero impact on the grassroots. 2. We cannot track corrupt government officials who siphon public funds. 3. And the elephant in the room, we cannot track therrohrist sponsors nor the tehrrorists. 4. We cannot track the bad roads and poor drainage system across the country that has turned businesses to grahveyards and landlords to tenants |

The taxes aren’t even a big deal. The issue is that they won’t provide us any benefits with it. No food banks, unemployment insurance, etc. just embezzlement as usual when the money can be invested for us all. Untrustworthy ppl. |

You couldn't stimulate the economy enough to provide jobs! Data isnt cheap, electricity is expensive or not available. Your people developed skills and got remote jobs to survive and FG wants a share of that too without providing anything in return! Its okay |

jideflash:You sound too slow in thinking, ask yourself the data these remote workers uses to carry out their jobs has the government ever done anything to make it affordable? You see criminals trying to rip where they didn't sow and you are applauding them what exactly has the citizens benefitted from these criminals? |

CodeTemplarr:Like the Wike and Yerima saga, things are happening showing how so many Nigerians are 'wired wrong' and are directly responsible for why Nigeria is an unworkable nation today while Nigerians, like you, blame Tinubu and leaders for everything. Responsible people understand the need to pay their taxes and dues. No excuses and no whataboutism. |

"We spoke to them, what are your concerns, how can we make it work, and we landed on an agreement. Today I can tell you Nigeria is making billions of dollars from those taxes, from those digital giants without fighting.” So why are we still taking loans? |
