Bad market for all those Ogun, Oyo and Osun people claiming Lagos 😂 We said it that time will come that the true indigines of Lagos will be separated from chaffs from other south west states claiming Yoruba is one . Who told you that Yoruba is one? If you're not an indigine of Lagos, you don't have the right to claim you're from Lagos. Infact, you're no different from the Chinedu from Enugu and Ahmed from Kano living in Lagos. |

All those clowns from neighbouring states claiming Lagos causing problems and always saying 'go back to your region' will be muted from now on. Nigeria, sha, is a very anyhow country; anything that will cause division and problems is what they always pioneer and focus on. They will never do any meaningful project or enact laws that will benefit the common man. |

Yorubas that don't have love and respect for indigenous lagosians. That's why they don't want the indigenous people to rule their home state, Lagos. This is wickedness against the indigenous people of Lagos |

This is illegal and unconstitutional on a federal level. The Lagos State Indigeneship Automated Certificate is a sleekly disguised form of digital discrimination. By institutionalizing “indigene status,” the government effectively divides residents into first-class citizens and others, contradicting the 1999 Constitution’s guarantee of equality and freedom from discrimination (Section 42). In a cosmopolitan state built by migrants, codifying ancestry into a digital gatekeeper for access to schools, jobs, or benefits is regressive. It risks excluding millions of Lagos-born Nigerians whose families migrated generations ago. Automation doesn’t sanitize bias, it only makes discrimination more efficient. The Attorney General of the Federation Lateef Fagbemi should step in and uphold the constitution. Lagos hosts the most federal assets that belong to all Nigerians, resources paid for with federal allocations, not state funds. Just as Delta has oil wells, Niger State has hydroelectric power serving the entire country, and Kano’s groundnuts once fed all Nigerians in the 1970s, Lagos too benefited from contributions from across the nation. Did anyone think the Third Mainland Bridge was built solely with Lagos State funds? For this reason, any discrimination by Lagos against a Hausa, Yoruba,Igbo or any Nigerian citizen is completely unconstitutional. |

LagosOrigin:You are totally wrong. The case was never really about Lagosians, it's always been about YORUBA and others. Lagos is a united legacy. As for me, I'm a Lagosian to the core, feel me? My birth certificate, my lassra, primary and secondary school certs etc...makes me a complete indigo |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by chigator2: 10:23pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
Lol. Just watch how Ogun Oyo and Osun indigenes will takeover Lagos with this phony certificate. |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by PDPdestroyer(m): 10:26pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
Good one. Now let’s see how any name starting with “Chi…” will become an indigene of Lagos. This is like a death sentence to the aspirations of the man-eaters from the East |

In 5 years, you will require tribal mark before being allowed to carry g.al.a carton on your head in Lagos. |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by AndroBlaze: 10:27pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
LagosOrigin:Lol, una funny, the way this Lagos matter is scratching you, it's more visible than the best of tribal marks sef ![]() Yorubas can never be worried by this development, as we can read between the lines to know who this is targeting. |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by PDPdestroyer(m): 10:28pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
chigator2:At least they share a common ancestor in Oduduwa, what’s the business of an economic immigrant from Alaigbo with how brothers choose to relate? Of all tribes in Nigeria, you’re the only ones who develop high blood pressure on Lagos matters |

As an indigene of Lagos, this news concerns me. |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by PigTormentor: 10:32pm On Nov 13, 2025 |

ayuskenke:Those that said Lagosisanomanland, how market? Time to separate the Wheat from the chaffs. With a family or relative house address+ Yoruba name, you can easily have the certificate. Earliest lagosians also settled here from somewhere in Yorubaland... |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by Imindmybusiness: 10:34pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
Ọ PigTormentor:Who is we? Oga if you don't provide your certificate, get ready to go back to Iragbiji |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by sreamsense: 10:35pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
LagosOrigin:You will soon be crying now that they are targeting Igbos so you have to rush forward to cover with propagandas. I think you know when the first population census was done in 18century, Yorubas states you mentioned were part of owners of Lagos and don't forget SanwoOlu also mentioned Lagos as united State of South West. I won't be surprised if Ngosi is becoming Damilola to access benefit in Lagos if at she is not screened out |
| Re: Lagos Launches Digital Indigeneship Certificate by WesleyPepper: 10:35pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
LagosOrigin:Nwosu, cope well 😂😂😂 Osun, Oyo or Ogun aren’t complaining. They are very happy with this development 🥂🥂 |
