I said the same thing when people were hyping opp GKs as Oliver Kahn against Real Madrid this season.

Alonso may suffer the same fate as Lopetegui. Came to bamboozle us with tactics by the start of the season and started losing when it mattered the most.

Beyond tactical system, Xabi should build better relationship with the players and let the players express themselves more, we need goals.

I actually blame Carlo. starting him in those unnecessary matches. He played a complete 90 minutes against Senegal, and he started him again, if not for the injury, he could have played another complete 90 minutes. Someone who just returned from a serious injury.
Now we only have huijsen, asencio and Alaba available 🤦🏾‍♂️
