Thanks for wishing I am that big. The people that brought the broilers did not call them genetically modified organisms but hybrids. A hybrid is an organism that was crossbred with another organism. That is different from modifying an organism genetics by deleting some traits and infusing another traits in a laboratory.

But nature's food is the best. My ancestors refused fertilizers and held on to crop rotation and bush fallowing without having to go through most of the health challenges we hear frequently from medical personnel.
We are never going back to the years of our ancestors. But accepting these GMO as staples requires pragmatic research and control of possible health challenges that could arise in the long run from the use of these products. In order to achieve this, there should be knowledge sharing on how to locally modify organism, be it plants or animals, to be used as staples and not rely on something someone somewhere modified and distributed for us to use. Depending on someone GMO will keep us at the mercy of the one person. The one person can engineer disease that he alone has solution for making it even more dangerous.

We can not fight GMO but we can be responsible for it use.
