The Yoruba remain the most educated people, in both the male and female categories, in Nigeria. Anyone who thinks they are competing with them is only doing so in their own mind! |

Igbo women are more literate, perhaps, more educated, than Igbo men. |

Igbo men are less educated compared to Igbo women. The worst politicians are Igbo men. For example, Igbo politicians do siddon de look Arewa and Yaribawa politicians. If not for Middle belt people who cried out to the Americans over Christians genocide, Igbos would have remained mum. |

L airsaylongcome:I never said she is not entitled to land/property in her husbands place. She is and the cultural practice on that is very clear.. She should criw In her husbands place. Her husbands property is hers too. She should stay in her marriage and make it work and stop running back to her papa house at the slightest quarrel. Ancestral lands are for those who will stay at home. If the father has landed properties elsewhere, she is entitled to that. But we are not going to drag the "Obi" with any lady that wants to prove that what a man can do a woman can do badly.. Thank you for your attention to this message! |

ariesbull:I think it is cultural - freedom. Igbos generally have this indomitable feature of being free to say and do whatever they like. Many ethnic groups have limitations to: how, when, what and where one says or does something. |

Nchenches:Middle Belters are the most affected, so why should others push it for them? Already, APC lots are blaming Igbos for the expose. In Nigeria, it is dangerous for an Igbo person to have a say on certain national topics. So, allow the affected parties to air their grievances. The next thing we would read is that Igbos want to take over their lands. As far as I am concerned, after the Civil War, Igbos should stay off national issues unless they directly affect us. |

I honestly thought Yoruba women are the most educated with all those universities in SW....but now that I thought of it, there are too many uneducated women in the slums. My heart goes out to the hausa women who have been made subservient to their male counterparts. Everybody go dey alright last last. |
