Lolz dey play, just dey play. So the courts will allow them do anyhow — printing one form and disenfranchising members? You don’t know anything about politics, democracy and the rule of law. Democracy works based on the rule of law, not the other way around.

For you information, the U.S. courts do step into party matters, especially when party rules intersect with constitutional rights (voting rights, association rights).
It's called judicial oversight.
ANYTIME THEY TALK PROGRES YOUR RESPONSE IS DEY PLAY.

U DO NOT MEAN WELL FOR THIS COUNTRY.

U DONT WANT PROGRESS, JUST EVERYBODY TO STAY ON SINKING SHIP WITH U.

What are you talking about, what 'progress' with a political party that can't settle internal dispute and put their house in order? Don't get emotional with politics brother, I was a die ha d PDP fan but the party has proven to be unserious since few years ago, especially after the 2019 presidential election loss. Let me tell you, 2019 election results gave PDP the opportunity to rebuild, restrategize and reorganize themselves to gain from it, but they continue to get worse since after the election loss. I don't take PDP serious again.

And the reason why I use the phrase 'dey play' a lot is because you people take politicians too seriously, and with too much emotions. If PDP in not careful, they are on a path of total destruction.

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act or rules of a political party, an aspirant who complains that any of the provisions of this Act and the
guidelines of a political party have not been complied with in the selection or nomination of a candidate of a political party for election, may apply to the Federal High Court for redress.
does this also apply to internal party convention??
Read again, slowly, and answer your question grin

Let me seize this opportunity to welcome all PDP faithfuls worldwide to the beautiful Adamasingba.

The original jurisdiction of the Federal High Court to interfere in the internal affairs of a Political Party is in Section 84(14) of the Electoral Act 2022.

Lamido is a thoroughbred PDP leader, he is welcome to the Ibadan Convention and I know he means well as he supports Turaki in pushing the PDP forward.

And how many faithful supporters does PDP has?

A party that lack a national leader.

They should have allowed him buy the Form, allow him to contest but bcoz they lack wisdom, and they will blame Tinubu for everything.

This is how some omo aale were chearing Fubara against Wike but today they have eaten the humble pie. They are pushing PDP also into its grave. Many of these useless set of people were happy when Supreme court prevented APC from fielding candidate in 2019 in Rivers state. They were happy when all the candidates of APC that won election in Zamfar had their election cancelled due to internal wranglings. They did not mention their quotes that court should not damble into internal affairs of a political party. The court dambled into Rivers APC and Zamfara APC. The same court will damble into the PDP and many of them will still wail as usual. Time will tell

In simple terms, the court judgement should not be obeyed because we don’t like it. Tomorrow, folks like you will come here to cry about government not obeying court order. Well done o oga lawyer, God willing, we shall be here to call out your hypocrisy when others also refuse to comply with a court order that is favour of your political interest. It’s just a matter of time.

Keep deceiving yourself. The future of PDP in the coming election is bleak. I know that INEC will not observe such charade. The judiciary might nullify every product of the convention including the 2026 candidate in Osun and 2027 candidates in the general elections.

This is why I wrote that you are too emotional and sentimental which normally will affect your line of reasoning (not trying to disrespect you sir). Must everything be about APC? PDP can't put their house in order, whose fault APC, PDP lose members, whose fault APC, PDP member fighting PDP member, whose fault APC. Let PDP build their party. Many of their founding members are still active, let them take responsibility and build their party and stop the blame game. At present you can't count the number of factions in the party.

And there is nothing like breeding corruption in the legal system. All these drama is PDP vs PDP.

Let me explain it like a baby.

The National Convention is the highest ruling organ of any Political Party in the Country. Any decision reached at the National Convention is binding and final and can only be upturned by another Convention.

The tenure of this NWC ends this month, meaning if they don't hold the Convention this month, everything they do afterwards is a nullity. The PDP has approached the Appeal Court but it will take time, it could take a month or two to deal with that, the persons who went to Court know this, those who are defendants as well do know this. If you don't obtain similar judgements and you go ahead and hold the Convention, it becomes contempt of Court.
That was how and why APC didn't have candidates in Rivers State in 2019.

The judgement that started with the Rivers High Court stopping APC from holding their Congress was flawed, that judgement was cemented with Justice Omotosho's. APC even appealed after the Congress, but the Courts termed it as contempt.
