The snake might possibly be a species from the family Actraspididae, Elapidae or Colubridae.
Elapidae is predominantly dominated by extremely venomous snakes, with highly potent venom, often neurotoxic.
Snakes of the family Elapidae possess neurotoxic venom and nearly all of the more than 300 species are dangerous to man, including cobras, mambas, tiger snakes, brown snakes, black snakes, coral snakes.
The only Elapidae completely harmless to man are the two species of egg eating sea snakes which lack venom and fangs.
About 3% of Elapidae possess mild venom.
Actraspididae are completely endemic to Africa and possess venom which could be potentially dangerous to man, depending on the victim's health state.
Colubridae is predominantly made up of non venomous snakes, with some being venomous and having rear fangs, of which a handful are dangerous to man.
Snakes come in a wide variety of sizes and length, ranging from the 30cm(12 inches) thread snakes, to the mighty, enormous 17 feet, 550 pound green anaconda of South America.
The green anaconda is so huge and thick in body girth, that it outweighs two room and parlor fat people combined.
The highest weight measurement of Yokozuna people is 256_ 300+ pounds, but the female green anaconda is heavier, around, 550 pounds.
The reticulated python of Asia, a notoriously aggressive species is the world's longest snake, reaching great length of 22_23 ft, and weighs 268 pounds.
