I complained to him and he prescribed me some medicine to go and use. I went to outside pharmacy to get them and after 5 days the medicine was left for 2 days and no improvement and I was frustrated.

I went back to the hospital and I complained, I felt like crying. The doctor I met directed me to go and do stool test, I went to their lab made payment and I was told to wait for 3 day for my result. I went back to lab to get my result and show it to the doctor and the result shows I don't have anything, no bacterial, no parasite, nothing was found on my stool and I became even frustrated.

The doctor asked me if I have done injection before and I said No, he then wrote me some injection and medicine, he said I'm to be injected on my hand for 3 days and then I can continue with the medicine after. I was directed to the nurse, they gave me the injection for 3 days but yet there wasn't any signs of improvement. I was angry and went home to focus on the rest of the medicine and see what is going to happen but my mind wouldn't let me as I go to toilet 3 times a day on average and is watery, there was a day I stool 7 times in 24 hours.


I stood up one night and visited the pharmacy I went to earlier and explained everything to the owner of the pharmacy and he was surprised as well. He collected my blood sample and did some test and he said I don't have dihorea or any complications, he said that my intestine flora has been washed away due to abuse of Anti biotics, that my small intestine isn't doing it's job properly.

He said I needed to stop taking all anti biotics completely. He gave me a Probiotic and Bioflor to be using that it's going to restore my system back to normal. But I have not seen improvement my people, I'm frustrated, I don't have headache, I don't feel anything, I don't feel stomach pain, just watering stool is my problem.

What should I do please.

Actually, you may have cleared the infection with antibiotics. However, as you remove the bad ones, the good ones will follow. The two products are OK but it depends on the quantity inside. Probiotics available in Nigeria are of low quality and extremely expensive. Perhaps you may need to order good qualities yourself online from amazon or maybe aliexpress. Maybe if you can upload where the content of everything and the amount, I can tell you more. Otherwise, you will not get result on time.

Solution to your problem are;
1. Salt
2. Aleo vera
3. Water.

Put salt inside water and get a blender. Blend the aleo vera with the salt water, drink the combination and you will be fine

I experienced something like this but in my case my belch and fart smell was really disgusting,flagyl Imodium n all didn’t work.it’s was gut infection …the doctor placed me on clindamycin….u can also get fermented pap water,water from boiling white rice allow it to cool down then drink it,scentleaf.

Continue taking ciprotab and malaria drug, don't forget to add ORT/ORS with 7up and take flagyl and septrin

Squeeze scent leaf (efirin) and bitter leaf (ewuro) together to draw out the water. Add salt to the water and add some salt to the water to dull the bitter taste. Drink at bed time every night till you feel completely healed.

You're probably having Irritable bowel syndrome, microscopic colitis,, inflammatory bowel disease(chrons disease or ulcerative colitis)..

I pray it's not the later,, cos if it's it,, the drugs are damn expensive and rare...

Though they are all chronic disease,, meaning they can't be cured but can be managed.
So you'll need to be on their medications for lifetime.

But the best is to go to teaching hospital or FMC and see a gastroenterologist to rule out which of the disease it is.

The inflammatory bowel disease is very deadly as it can lead to colon cancer and toxic megacolon.. so it's necessary you go see the gastroenterologist.

But let's assume it's the microscopic colitis or IBS,,,

Use loperamide! It'll help you manage it.

What I mean is that, it'll help you stop the symptoms for like 2-3 days,, so after then, you'll need to continually take it to maintain your healthy lifestyle,,

If they offer you alternative, don't take.
Insist on Lodium or you check the next pharm.

What you need is fermented pap water to balance your gut flora (i.e healthy bacteria in your small intestine). You can make the pap yourself, what you need is the fermented water, just make sure the water is clean and well fermented, drink as your normal water.
Or better still get original Greek yogurt (unsweetened).

I have someone that had been in your shoes before, 1. Stop taking any form of medications
2. Watch what you eat, anything that has to do with refined food stay away. Like semo and other
3. Eat more of solid food with draw soup. Preferably ewedu

Take flagyl and imodium. Get ORS. Get probiotic. And mind where you eat.

Did you eat any of the beans products?Look for scent leaves,wash with clean water and chew raw.

Also bitter leave too, chew raw. Both are pH regulators.
Then eat Ewedu plenty. Don't worry about it being a draw veggie.

The doctor asked me if I have done injection before and I said No, he then wrote me some injection and medicine, he said I'm to be injected on my hand for 3 days and then I can continue with the medicine after. I was directed to the nurse, they gave me the injection for 3 days but yet there wasn't any signs of improvement. I was angry and went home to focus on the rest of the medicine and see what is going to happen but my mind wouldn't let me as I go to toilet 3 times a day on average and is watery, there was a day I stool 7 times in 24 hours.


I stood up one night and visited the pharmacy I went to earlier and explained everything to the owner of the pharmacy and he was surprised as well. He collected my blood sample and did some test and he said I don't have dihorea or any complications, he said that my intestine flora has been washed away due to abuse of Anti biotics, that my small intestine isn't doing it's job properly.

He said I needed to stop taking all anti biotics completely. He gave me a Probiotic and Bioflor to be using that it's going to restore my system back to normal. But I have not seen improvement my people, I'm frustrated, I don't have headache, I don't feel anything, I don't feel stomach pain, just watering stool is my problem.

What should I do please.

My stomach wouldn't stop making noises, grumbling anytime I drink water or eat food.

Guy, all u wrote was as if u copied my brother. Lol. Thanks to God today it's over. His was 10weeks, it was so funny. Also an ulcer patient.

But u didn't do the right thing and the Doctors didn't tell u to do so. The first is to do your FBC in case of anything. The parameters in Full blood count from a standard lab, ( not local or common labs with typewriter oo) will tell you exactly what was wrong.


In summary, oga, no worries, Na infections you get. Not in d stool or urine, show your results to doctor or pharmacist. Tab Cefuroxime 500mg (1 tablet) morning and night for 5 days Was prescribed by the doctor and everything was normal after 7days. He bought Zinnat. But yours maybe different, show your own doctor your FBC result simple.

U see, attacking symptoms with medications before test not really good. U did test but didn't do the actual test. First is FBC. Then it will show u what next.

Guess you have used Imodium as well, if you have then you need to visit a hospital immediately if it didn't work

Go for tests instead of killing yourself with different drugs. Stool test, Urine mcs, and blood test for HIV or other STDs.
The cause of the runny stomach is definitely a bug.

I am a medical doctor and if a patient presents to me with such history of diarrhoea, I will suspect HIV immunosuppression and screen him for HIV.
