The parents are sense less. The legal matter is meaningless. If you cannot mention the name of the parent that this release is useless |

A lawyer that was not at the scene of crime is the one issuing intimidating statement on behalf of the so called parents. |

Hmmm if any teacher has assaulted my child to the point they have an headache, there will be conversations. Serious ones. Will I slap the teacher, I doubt it. But there will be a case. |

Druss:Please don't tell me you believe that rubbish about the student having headaches as a result of beating from the teacher, it's the normal lie people tell when they want to use emotions to sway a case in their favour. It's somewhat similar to a situation where a landlord forcefully ejects a tenant who has been owing a rent of 500k for 2 years; the next thing you hear is that the tenant will claim he has 1.5 million in a box in his room which got stolen during the forced ejection |

gigabyte13:Mess with you? Are you a teacher? Take your frustrations else where. Nobody forced you to teach for peanuts. If you touch my child as a teacher, you surely regret the day you decided to become a teacher. Frustrated teacher |

psalmsjob:You have evidence that he slapped the child? At least we have evidence that the parents assaulted the teacher |
| Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by denip: 6:58pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
olajay86:The parents also mentioned that the principal of the school was all about filming them. They stated that it was the teacher’s arrogant justification and their fierce parental love that forced them to descend on the teacher with sl@ps. They argue that instead of intervening to restore order, the Principal shamelessly continued recording and later uploaded the footage to social media. see how the parents are defending the assault on the teacher. Lets even assume that the teacher was so so wrong. Does that justify the above statement? |

Trust social media, the face of the child will soon be gotten and saved in the social media space and the child will grow and be remembered of this incident. What ever the child will become in future, social media will never forget. |

Definitely written by a poor lawyer too. These parents are just breeding future nuisance to the world. No training at home, not allowed to be trained at school too. This is Africa |
| Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by Clinton207: 7:19pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
This is just a defensive step against their wrong action seen in the viral video . If that teacher was rude as they claim, he wouldn’t accept those slaps like a sheep before the slaughter. |

overdrive:so you are in support of the teacher slapping the child? Is physical violence the only way to teach? if you wanted your child to be beaten up, why not send your child to a boxing ring for training? Is the teacher a gladiator? Are there no superiors the teacher can report the child to? jrobbins:You and a bunch of nairaland users that they beat shege comot dia bodi wen una small, are you not still constituting nuisiance on the internet? To hell with that "This is Africa" quote. It is why the rest of the world will continue to look down on you because you behave like animals and justify jungle behaviour. There are other ways to correct a child that does not involve physical violence. I know you do not know it because you were brought up with the mindset that violence and murder is the only solution to all your problems. |
| Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by Goodlady(f): 7:22pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
dominique:Lmao. The parents spoiled the case by being the aggressor caught with video evidence. They should be the ones recording audio and possibly video footage of the day they went to complain about abuse on their child and take it to ministry of education. |
| Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by cyprex: 7:25pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
You expect the principal to intervene and restore order after you betrayed every orderliness. Not parental love but violent instinct can drive a couple "both husband and wife" to jointly abuse a teacher who dared to help them train their "untrained" child. |
| Re: Abuja Parents Who Slapped Teacher Release Statement by EDGEof2MORO: 7:27pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
cyprex:Can the teacher not train this untrained child without resorting to physical violence? Did the parents send their child to a school or a gladiator's arena? Una sef eh |
