Afrodoc is right, na u get mind pass for this thread.

I have declined several invites for ocassions outside Lagos and ogún state since Buhari's first term.

Ever since my childhood friend's mum died from gunshot wound while traveling along Ondo-Akure road during Buhari's tenure, I've had serious trauma entering the express going beyond dem Mowe-Ibafo. We have so many underpoliced or completely un-policed space on federal roads traveling through this country.

The whole idea of hoping for a safe journey when u know terrorists can come out of anywhere in the bush just doesn't sit down well with me.

When I saw Tinubu reacting to that Pa Fasoranti daughter's death and was asking "where are the cows?", I knew the common man is in his own.

Na since that time I decided to give myself brain ; cos of dem kill person na semantics politicians and their supporters go dey play on while that person's dead body lies cold in the mortuary

Look at this one who has a brother in the army and has been rejoicing posting 'death to Christians' and 'God bless the freedom fighters' now the chicken has come home to roost and the freedom fighters have killed his brother. Believe it or not there are many northerners with this mentality, e tire anybody to defend them tueh!!!
Thank you for your service sir. Do you think foreign boots on the ground to help us fight those evil guys will demoralize our army?

Gumi actually speaks for these clowns who actually celebrate bandits, terrorists and murderers as freedom fighters

Look at them boldly celebrating terrorists on social media and no DSS is arresting them.

for all intents and purposes they fully and wholeheartedly support boko haram

I have to wonder about what goes through the minds of the northerners who fled to the south. Because in the end it seems like they also support all of this while running away from it
This is what we have been saying bro.

The late mailafia made allegations about Miyetti Allah being accessories to the terrorism and insecurity happening in the north back then. Our state security didn't allow him rest after then, they kept inviting him asking him to come and substantiate his claims. They drilled the man till he breathed his last.

Today Gumi makes inflammatory statements at will; statements that appear as if he's the official spokesperson of the terrorists and yet he's allowed free entry and free exit to Nigeria.

Just last week Gumi went on a media round within and outside the country. He went to Turkiye and was taking a pro-terrorist stand in his media rounds. He came back to the country last week and even led jumat prayers on Friday in Kaduna. Why is he still a freeman? Why is the government not reining him in?

Baba, I know say u are pro-BAT but I must tell u say Ur guy dey 4ck up with the way they continue to let characters like Gumi give this government bad PR. I know Tinubu is not an Islamic extremist like most Southwest Christians, but he needs to match his personality with action. He needs to set aside political correctness aimed at winning 2027 elections aside and deal with extremist northerners like Gumi. They are giving his government bad PR and it's not just about us Nigerians, foreigners see these things.

I work with expatriates daily and I can boldly tell u they follow Nigerian news more than some of we Nigerians do. The kind opinion some of them have about us, it's not something I wish to share on this space. Ur guy needs to look beyond 2027 politics and take a hard stand against characters like Gumi.

Even the ones in other war torn jihadist nations who flee as refugees to the west, still support the nonsense while running away, you can never fully understand these people. Abi na the one wey men and women come dey protest dey cry say we dey kill their sons, eventually their sons turn back come kill them

The thing about air travel is u just have to zero Ur mind and hope everything goes as planned. The number of times I've flown in the last 2 years, I've lost my fear for altitude.

I think the uncertainty on the road also contributed to me swallowing my fear. The thing is to ignore some of those fairly unpopular airlines and do more of airlines like ValueJet who have good reviews from their customers.

I understand Ur business requires u to follow the products u supply via road ; I pray God will continue to grant u safe journey even in these terrible times. 🙏

this for all intents and purposes is the heart mind of the average northerner - from the okada rider to the farmer to the intellectual to the elite

look at that random celebrating jihadists as freedom fighters

look at them celebrating the murder of deborah

i stumbled on the twitter of a guy who was detailing the active disenfranchisement of christians by govt officials in different states

which begs the question - Freedom from what?

muslims up north are a majority who oppress christian minorities - so in what twisted victimhood are these terrorists identified as freedom fighters?

If the government doesn't make a move to silence the voice of people like Gumi who hold serious influence, nothing will change. He even has a son who is a commissioned officer in Nigeria army whom I believe must also subscribe to the same ideology as his father. How does the country defeat terrorism like this?

Look at Shettima the VP too, he doesn't strike me as a person who believes in government pounding Islamic terrorists. His association with some of them in the past doesn't paint him in good light at all.

I don't know how Tinubu will do it, but he needs to do something and it should be fast before Kwara, Kogi and Ondo are overrun because when that happens even the Lagos he comes to for festivities won't be safe for us all.

do you think the same people who celebrated and cheered and defended the murder of deborah are interested in living in a liberal western style democracy?

that is what they think their 'freedom fighters' are fighting against

boko haram - western education is sin - well so are western values to them. the average northerner will always drop dogma about how muslim 'values' are superior to depraved western values

if you talk with most of them one on one behind closed doors , in their minds nigeria will transition to an utopia once they adopt sharia and islam as the sole religion

they see saudi/oman rather than the reality of bangladesh/pakistan

back then ISIS also packaged themselves as utopia for the true believers who wanted out from corrupting satanic western influences

So what do u think is the one at out? Bear in mind that we have minority non extremists in the north who may not necessarily subscribe to Sharia ; what will be their fate if we say the country should be split across regions into different smaller countries?

Perhaps, after the threat of military intervention in Niger Republic, economic sanctions some of the Sahel states bordering Nigeria withdraw from military cooperation, intelligence sharing regarding the movements of this terrorists/terror groups. Things are getting worse.

Men walk away quietly from cheating women everyday.

To many married women in climes like ours, that Mrs. tag is a crown. It is still in other climes.

To explain away society's scorn for losing that crown, she will make herself the victim, throwing her husband she wronged under the bus just to evade accountability.

Accountability is a woman's kryptonite and she will gaslight even her own child to evade it. Even with tears. You know it's true.

He owned the narrative. Better a bruised ego amongst your peers than being made out to be a monster and lose your source of livelihood to a scorned woman.

At least the internet wouldn't have his name cached as a wife beater and molester when his name is searched. I'll take that reputational win.
I just saw a video of the cheating wife admitting her now ex husband knew she was dating the said man she cheated with yet coerced her to marry him.

She's evading accountability by feigning coerced marriage.

At least she can't run the "left to live" line to ruin him like Toke did to her ex, Nedu's ex wife to him, or Tiwa to TeeBillz.

That's why you must always own the narrative.

A crying woman is a powerful combination and the world will be brutal to you.

Even if you don't want to rush to the media (I don't recommend it), go to an MDA like the National Human Right Commission. Document your side of the story quickly and have it on record. And make sure the person attending to you is a man, not a woman.

Own your narrative. Your ego will be bruised a little. She will try to bruise it. But she won't accuse you of anything criminal because you control the talking points.

Every woman (your mum, sisters, cousins, daughters, lover/spouse, aunt...) evades accountability by default...until made to admit it.

Even p0rnstærs are on record evading accountability to gaslight men for not putting up with them. Every woman makes herself out to be a victim when it suits her.

Learn or perish. Another man has been saved from his life being ruined with false criminal allegations.

Romance scandals are dirty whichever they are played as your dirty linen is just entertainment for bored strangers on the internet.

I've never had personal disagreements spill onto the larger internet. Never will, hopefully.

But control the narrative with evidence and/or reporting to official bodies. Leave nothing to chance. Or learn the hard way.

Baba, I dont think it's worth the hassle. If somebody 4cks ur wife, na to just move on, cut off the wife by making sure she doesn't have access to any benefits she enjoyed as ur wife, carry out DNA to confirm the kids are urs and if possible try to take custody of the kids confirmed as urs.

No need making psosts like what that man did ; it will expose u to ridicule in the court of public opinion. If anybody wants to have details of why u divorced ur wife, let them ask her and let her use her mouth explain her shameful attitude.

For example look at what NeduWazobiaFM's wife was saying after their marraige failed and it was confirmed she actually slept with someone else resulting in pregnancy before marriage. She was the one that was fooolishly explaining how she didn't tell Nedu she was pregnant and Nedu assumed the child was his. She sounded fooolish and everyone till date still see her for who is.
