Iranian authorities published a statement regarding the seizure of an oil tanker carrying petroleum products, believed to have been headed to the United States:

Our forces detected, intercepted, and seized the oil tanker Talara in accordance with a judicial order in Iran to confiscate its cargo.

The Talara tanker was transporting 30,000 tons of petrochemical products and was headed to Iran for investigation.

The investigation showed that the seized tanker Talara had violated regulations and was transporting unauthorized cargo.

Trump confirms U.S. will sell F‑35 Lightning II jets to Saudi Arabia. From today’s Oval Office:

"Yeah, I will say that we will be doing that. We'll be selling F-35's, yeah."

The sale would make Saudi Arabia the second Middle Eastern country (after Israel) to acquire the stealth fighter.
