Been National Secretary doesn't affect anything.
He is only just doing what Wike did with SamDaddy.

With National Chairman & Secretary been Muslims, the Presidential Candidate must be Christian. He will take the ticket, Makinde is a Tinubu's man as well, he just wants to be the leader of the Party and that's not possible if the FCT man is there.

Wike's play now will be to puncture the National Convention, using the suits already filed. He is now coming full-blown to entirely destroy the PDP. He will be vicious and brutal but like I have said, I think Makinde has outside help!

Fintiri & Mutfwang have always been his men. He helped the Plateau own at the Supreme Court and he is planning to defect. Jang is in the Wike-faction.
Fintiri has been his longtime friend. Fintiri is part of those that chased Atiku out of the PDP. So, it is unsurprising to see these two make such positions.

Adeleke is heading out of the PDP! Most importantly to secure his second term ticket/ He has a placeholder somewhere in another party.
Dauda Lawal, the Zamfara Governor, Makinde and Bala Mohammed are the only PDP Governors. Makinde himself is not a friend to Adeleke, he openly worked against Adeleke 3 years ago, so Ademola doesn't want to be taken unawares this time.
I heard Dauda is trying to join another party. How did Wike help muftwang in SC

At 75 , you should be a Statesman and not be involved in partisan politics after being Governor and Senator! Even our current former drug dealer President should be a Statesman but he removed at least 10 years from his age to look younger.

Omo, it’s a lot.

I actually don’t blame those jumping off the PDP train because there seems to be a lot of uncertainties now.

But just like you said, the only thing I think might go against PDP is if they are ruled to have been in contempt of court by going ahead with the convention. Asides that, I have a strong feeling that Wike and co have lost. Especially when you consider that they are grossly in the minority.

I have read both judgements of Omotosho and Lifu.

Omotosho's was mainly against INEC. That if PDP doesn't do a and b and c, don't monitor their Convention.

Lifu's was sell forms to Lamido before you proceed with the Convention, INEC ensure it happens.

Both judgements are laughable.

Contempt of Court will not work because they secured that order from the High Court in Ibadan. The difference with APC in 2018 was that when Omotosho ruled in 2018, they went on without securing their own order.

The decisions of the Supreme Court now will be based on these questions:-

1. Does the Oyo State High Court have the jurisdiction to adjudicate on the subject matter especially as it concerns INEC, a Federal Agency!?

2. Does the Federal High Court have the powers to sit on an issue within the domestic affairs of the Political Party?

3. Does the Oyo State High Court have the jurisdiction to sit on an issue of the National Convention as a State High Court?

4. Does decision involving the National Secretary & National Legal Adviser and Convention Organisation falls within the domestic affairs of a Political Party?

These are the major questions because I understand Lamido is been spoken to, he will likely drop his case on appeal.

Refreshing to hear that both judgment didn’t explicitly ask PDP not to go ahead with the convention.

Like I said some days ago, one thing the Supreme Court has done that I like is trying so much to stay away from the issues of party leadership. So, except Wike pulls some stunt at the Supreme Court which we’ve seen him do in recent days, the Ibadan Convention will stand especially when you consider that by the time the matter will get to Supreme Court, the tenure of Anyanwu as National Secretary shall have expired.

Then another big question is, did INEC monitor what happened in Ibadan?
