During registration process, for the new PG intake, all documents will be verified. Should there be need to submit it, they will request and you can make it available. Just ensure to get everything ready as the PG School opens admission for selected candidates.

Hi everyone. Is it too soon to pay a physical visit to my intended program to ask about the postgraduate admissions? I am applying for a full-time MSc in a different engineering program (although my BSc degree was listed among the eligible degrees for the MSc requirement), and I don't have an active NSE/COREN membership (which was stated as a plus in the requirements). The last requirement is a department-level test, so would all applicants be invited for this test or only those admitted?

I am not that confident of my chances of admission and was thinking about paying my department a visit tomorrow or next week to make further clarifications (I live in Lagos, but not a Unilag BSc graduate). On another thought, I think I might not be attended to even if I show up in person since the outcome of the entry exam isn't even out yet.
P.S.: I am not trying to make a shady move for the admission. I just want to air my concerns and get an understanding of how the department/PG pick their admits from the MSc application pool, so I can make better arrangements toward resumption next year if my admission chances are solid. Just be relaxed whatever step you want to take is subject to being granted admission which is at the school's discretion. However, you can come to UNILAG to clear your doubts in order to let you understand whatever seems unclear to you. Merit is merit here at UNILAG nothing else.
