Who cares, it is their careers, if they really wanted to be at the World Cup so badly, they would have shed their sweat and blood on the pitch to qualify.

They have just passed through the SE without making a significant mark.

Good radiance

Nigeria should start to prepare for the next set of generation to represent the country in 2031 world cup. These ones have lost their chance.
Re: Ages Of Some Super Eagles Players By 2030 World Cup by Reference(m): 4:12pm On Nov 18, 2025
No chance for any of them. And if they cannot deliver in their prime, can't see it happen.

That is why the NFF should begin to craft an entirely new team.

Third rate losers all of them. And if you think there is any form of hope in the younger eagles, perish the thought. The u-17 and u-20 eaglets and eagles didn't qualify for their own tournaments either.

Woeful failures everywhere.
Blame the NFF for it. All these guys aren't our best. They just happen to be more connected one way or the other to get call ups.

After failing yet again in 2030 to qualify for the mundial., I can bet anything another thread will surface in 2029 telling us Ndidi will be 34 again in 2034 ! grin . Not that I am blaming himfor our loss though .

Ronaldo is 40yrs, so they can still be very much relevant if they work hard & are determined.
Ronaldo refused to retire because he wants to win the world Cup...

They are not mediocre players. That tag is way too ruthless..
Iwobi is not mediocre. Ndidi is not mediocre. Bassey plays to his best. Ditto Nwabali. They are not mediocre. They just don't have the drive to play to their potentials while playing for Nigeria.
Can you say that the Congolese players have more individual qualities than the Eagles? I don't think so. But the Congolese showed up because they were hungry and wanted it more.
That desire pushed them to their limits..
I made a similar comment during the match, the Congolese players wanted it more.

If I'm privileged to suggest to NFF, the team should be disbanded, a new team of truly young players who are truly not older than 22 should immediately be called up, and the Coach start working with them asap!

Osimhen is part of the problem. The earlier he js exited from the team the better. Why?
1. The team ia built around him and it's fuelling his ego.
2. He fails to perform at the big matches. Have we forgotten so soon how he scored one goal throughout in seven games at the last AFCON? What is the point in performing in small matches and then going AWOL in the big games
3. Always feigning injury when he is under pressure. Why was he substituted? Injury abi? Watch him appear for Galatasary next week. We need a player who is fully committed to the cause
4. Always picking quarrels with his mates. Rumours have it that was why he was substituted in the Congo DR game.

In a country of 200 million one player shouldn't be allowed to treat the team like shait. Not in 2025. He can't try that nonsense with a team like France or England. He will be booted out even if he is CR7 and Messi combined
spot on even though many wont agree

That's the determination part of it. There are many players close to his age that want to win World Cup but their body can't carry on or they are not determined enough.

If NFF were wise, they would immediately set up a committee on qualifying for the world cup in 2030 with younger talents foreign/home based.

It would be mere foolishness depending on these set of super eagles as they are already aging.

Some of them might still be playing actively till then.

So Winifred Ndidi and Stanley Nwabali are just 2 years older than Victor Osimhen, if I hear! grin
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 What do you mean!!!
Re: Ages Of Some Super Eagles Players By 2030 World Cup by Flangelo12:
Let's sack NFA or whatever it's called now.

Get a Nigerian manager that must scout his talent locally.

He must include at least 6 players from our local league during friendlies.

Any player in Europe who makes the team must start at least half of the last 40 games.

I know this sounds draconian but it's the only way this rot would stop.

Then they'll quality and even win it because I believe they'll be mature and more experience then, if not then, then another 4years, they should keep gaining experience. After all Messi lifted it at 37 and Ronaldo will lifte it next- at 42

They are older than that even currently. The pandemic of football age is too rampant.

I was the only one that refused to change my year of birth during my time in the university.

Lots of persons reduced their age. But I told myself no, I won't do that.

Inferiority complex makes people to cut down on their real age.

You swing with the wind.
When he does well, you guys will praise him. When he makes mistakes, he becomes a disaster. He nearly saved Nigeria during the penalty kicks.
He Is not as bad as you guys make him to look.

Football ages. By then all of them would have become near-spent forces. They're not going to the world cup

These are their ages on paper. In reality minimum of four years should be added to the listed ages excluding lukman and iwobi. By 2030, football for don run commot from their body. Na victor own dey touch my marrow. Dude might end up not featuring in a single world cup match.
Osimhen doesn't look like one who gives a fvk about featuring in a World Cup. Dude is making his cool cash in Turkey.

They are mediocre and no amount of sugar coating the truth can change that, I don't even care what leagues or clubs they play in/for, but you if fail to qualify for 2 world cups back to back with the latest one being the easiest path of qualification a tournament can ever offer (9 slots for Africa), and then you go on to barely survive a group that has teams like Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Rwanda and Benin Republic with FIFA and CAF even giving you enough lifelines to qualify (deducting points from South Africa, using small mathematical ojoro to give Burkina Faso's playoff spot to you) and yet you Bleep it all up at the most crucial point by playing with no heart or passion...then you're a mediocre team full of average yet overhyped players. It's time Nigerians start telling themselves the truth, this present generation of players excluding Osimhen and newly discovered Benjamin Fredrick should easily rank as our worst ever in Nigerian football history. I miss when we had fighters like Yekini, JJ Okocha, Adepoju, Oliseh, Enyeama, Mikel Obi, Osaze, Onazi, Victor Moses, Emenike, Ideye Brown, Oboabona, Egwueke etc...those men qualified to world cups when qualifying was far harder for African teams.

What we have now are overpampered babies and TikTok dancers
