themanderon:Spanking ... not slapping a child is a form of disciplinary action. Maybe if he spanked the boy ... this wouldn't be news. The fear in the he days of old was not of the the teacher ... but if the parents. As in this case .... in the old days from he boy would've very well been itching to return the slap or push the teacher ...no fear .... the fear would be if his parents found out about it what will happen to him. |

Nigeria has really degenerate. How on earth will you stand toe to toe with your teacher to the extent of shoving him? How dare you? Even if you are feeding the teacher, you dare not try that rubbish. The parents also acted in a very irresponsible manner. Where is the respect in all of these? Your kid's teacher for heaven's sake. Very terrible. And to the school, you failed your own. You failed to protect him. Irrespective of his actions, you should not have allowed an outsider to treat and disgrace your teacher like that in the presence of the kid. Very annoying. You can't try it with me though, will damn the consequences and retaliate. |

I'm a teacher and if I mildly discipline your child and you come at me and slap me honestly I will show you madness. This teacher both parents beat up like this is so calm. I watched the video and felt terrible. |

Originalsly:if the parents want to raise a rubbish child, they should keep the child at home period. You send your kids to school so they can learn and be disciplined so you can have a well behaved and morally upright child. If you don't want it so then keep your rotten tomatoes at home. You alone would bear the stench when poo hits the fan and it surely always does. |

I wanted to blame the parents but I saw that the teacher is just a coward that only retreats when it's a child that attacks him. So let him bear his cross I have no sympathy for him. You dey defend yourself against small pikiin that struck first. To prove that you actually defended yourself and didn't take advantage of the child's small stature then you should have done same when the dad slapped you too. Simple |

themanderon:See eh, if you ever find yourself teaching any of my children in your so-called school of thought, NEVER IN YOUR LIFE MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PUTTING YOUR FINGERS ON THEM. That will be the day you will see me personally and I will make sure you can not forget me. If you can not train a child without resorting to physical violence, why are you even a teacher? You are better off working as a boxing instructor then I know beating is allowed somehow. Maybe you are the millionaire you are today because of all the beatings and torture you received as a child. Hmmm, no do mistake touch any of my pikin. |

EDGEof2MORO:Keep your child at home and homeschool him if you so choose. Molly your child, whenever he does wrong. You will cry tears of blood when the time comes. I know a ton of people who did this and today they are crying. I was even with one yesterday. Have a nice day. |

Originalsly:Children need to be reprimanded whenever they do wrong. You save the future/soul of that child if you do so. The moral decadence we are experiencing today is caused by the fact that we copied the ways of the Western world, whose society has totally collapsed morally. We are already experiencing it with the ungodly, morally bankrupt youths we have amongst us today. No respect for elders/authority, No compass of what is right or wrong, selfish and self-centered, etc. It's just as the Bible said in 2 Timothy 3. If you care, read it up and compare with what is happening today. |

themanderon:No doubt... children need to be reprimanded but where do we draw the line between acceptable and unacceptable disciplinary actions? I guess this has to be cultural ... what's accepted in one region may be unacceptable in another. |

datola:U are wrong that doesn't happen in a private school, you talk like a gossiper who hasn't experienced teaching First hands. I have and I can tell you for free that in a private school setting teachers try their best to avoid issues with students because it will certainly lead to sack, students are sending like a client. |

IMPARTIAL:I agree but schools are messing up, you dare push or slap a teacher? Instant expulsion from my alma mater, they expelled a teachers son the day he tried that shit |
| Re: Parents Slap Teacher In Abuja Private School (Photos) by EDGEof2MORO: 3:13pm On Nov 21, 2025 |
themanderon:of course homeschool is an option I don't have which is why I send them to an academic school. If I wanted them to be beaten up for their mistake, I would send them to a boxing school if you can not train a child without resorting to physical violence, you have failed as a teacher. I am not sure they thought you so at the teachers training college. |

EDGEof2MORO:You don't know the damage you cause if you deny your child being disciplined. The teachers would look away from all his wrongdoings. The implication is you will have a spoilt rotten child who will later grow up to be a torn to your flesh. I know people that are going through this today and it's not funny for them. If you choose to spoil your kids that's your problem. You alone will carry the load when the disgrace and opprobrium comes. |
| Re: Parents Slap Teacher In Abuja Private School (Photos) by EDGEof2MORO: 12:30pm On Nov 22, 2025 |
themanderon:the issue here is you think beating a child = discipline my children are well behaved and I have never raised my hands against them. yes, children can be stubborn and annoying sometimes and that is where you, as an adult have the advantage because you were once a child. you probably gone through what your child is experiencing and are in the best position to guide them, not use that opportunity to practice your fantasy wrestling match. if you want to hit someone so badly, pick someone your size. Did you see how the teacher cowered like a goat when the parents of the child showed up? It's like nigerian police and army flexing power when they are facing unarmed, law-abiding civilians, but when the real criminals show up for business, all that "power" evaporates. |
