Resigning so that someone can take over? Countries are at war, and their presidents don't resign? Only a coward will resign in such a situation.

Situations like this can lead to low morale. The security architecture needs all the support they can get at this point in time, but APC is busy campaigning and many legislators are busy decamping.

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.
