Osifo dissolved elected union leaders in multiple branches and installed caretaker committees. He extended the caretaker committees' tenure beyond three months, against the stipulation in the bylaws. He then dissolved the bylaws to allow the transition of the caretaker committees to official branch excos. He suspended for two years those who would have defeated the caretaker committees in a free and fair election.

There are three or four court cases from different branches against Osifo and Pengassan National at the Industrial Court. More are still coming.

Recently there is an allegation of being bought over by the management of the company where he worked before becoming the national president.

Apparently he was leading the fight for a CBA.
One of the demands of the CBA is for a day rate of 150k/day for all contract staff.
He achieved this with SEPLAT (former MOBIL).
So his own company believed he would help them achieve the same.
Guess what the mgt offered and he accepted and signed the CBA.... Just an increment of 10k/day.

So the insinuation is that he and his excos sabotaged the effort by doing the mgt bidding.
