Why is it that the court did not have time for Kanu's hearing until he said he will speak for himself? Indeed! Nnamdi Kanu deserves the death penalty! The Judge was unduly sentimental in the sentencing aspect of the proceedings. Truth is, Nnamdi Kanu is not remorseful and has demonstrated the capability to run terrorism from prison. He should have been taken out outright. The lives he wasted directly or indirectly are precious lives as well. The Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court where they are less sentimental might just let him have what he truly deserves which is the death sentence!

Kanu Nwanko defied all fairly and reasonable options to be heard, but he refused. He resorted to throwing tantrums and insults to Judges and law abiding officials. Notwithstanding the Judge gave him a life sentence instead of D#ATH PENALTY that he deserved. Obviously the Judge didn't want to throw the South East into a turmoil a civil war that they deserve. So Kanu wishing all the best time as you serve your term. No more tantrums and insults. Go and behave yourself like your fellow Prisoners.

There is a limit to presidential pardon, why a lot Tinubu granted earlier on were reversed cos the compilers mis briefed the president. In some other countries, they hand death sentence less severe cases. Anyway it's the way it is. Different strokes

Appeal over what ? That he should not face the charges and be properly sentenced like this? Is that how justice is done?
