And he said there are communities in the NE that have been deserted, but politicians still receive allocations for them. So, it's basically free money for years.

The Home Secretary decides on a case by case basis. You don’t even have to be convicted. Strong links to terrorism is enough.

The person can appeal the revocation in court.

His point about Northern leaders condoning terrorism is correct. The former Zamfara governor personally went to pay ransom. The former Katsina governor did same. We have seen meetings with public officials and bandits, so yes, Northern leaders are supporting, encouraging and maybe benefitting from the unrest.

The SE is not the same. You don't see their governors negotiating with IPOB. We have seen serious clamp downs in it. No governor supports Sit at Home. In a state like Ebonyi, sit at home is non existent. Mbah was almost about to arrest people for locking their shops on Mondays. The approaches are different

In Ur post which I responded to, you claimed Northerners don't shield their brothers and hammered on South Easterners showing solidarity with Kanu.

So I had bring it to Ur notice that Buhari was one of the northern voices that criticized Jonathan's government when he tried to fight the boko haram menace at its infancy. Perhaps if Buhari had supported Jonathan government's military campaign against Boko Haram the north would not be in the mess it is today.
