Some of you are just delusional....For your info, Trump came and decided to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan which now made the Taliban that were hitherto non existent, reclaim power from the indigenous government .

There's a reason the entire peace plan panders mostly to Russia. In international politics, might is right. Ukraine at the moment has very little ti bargain with other than hope. Russia holds the bargaining chips. Meanwhile USA who is supposedly pushing the peace plan has nothing with which to compel Russia to an agreement hence the war stops only when RUSSIA get what it considers to be fair to Russia. And this deal right here is not fair to Russia so do not expect the war to come to an end with this particular deal.

The truth of the matter is that both Russia and Ukraine are bleeding badly in this war

Russia over underestimated Ukrainian resolve to hold on.

Ukraine had been betrayed over and over that they cannot bring themselves to trust Russia over ANYTHING.

This so-called peace deal is a call for capitulation. If Russia could take the four Oblasts completely, they would have done it.

Unfortunately, Putin still up till yesterday says that
"Whatever" happens ALL the military goals of Russia would be achieved"

Meaning that, if Ukraine surrenders their fortress belt for the sake of peace deal, Russia can find the excuse to roll forward and take even Kiev the capital.

The phrase "security guarantee" is a meaningless because when the time comes, USA or NATO or Europe will not put boots on ground to help Ukraine.

I do not see Ukraine accepting this horrible "peace deal". It is like forcing a raped woman to allow her rapist to live in one of the rooms in her house

A Fair Peace deal must start with a CEASEFIRE while maintaining the current frontline. But Russia wants what it could not achieve milleterily over the last three years on the platter of gold.

I didn't, you did. Besides, according to ranking, the U.S is the first. Russia vs U.S is a match in terms of war but you should know that the U.S is higher in terms of ranking. I will choose the U.S any day or anytime. The only thing Russia is boasting of is their nuke. Russia is nothing without nuke. Russia is finding it very difficult to defeat Ukraine despite the fact that Ukraine have no long range missile. Imagine if the U.S helped Ukraine with long range missiles, what do you think would have been the outcome of the war?
Note: The war is over 3years. If it was that easy for Putin, the war wouldn't have lasted to this time. Putin should just thank their stars that Ukraine doesn't have the kind of weapons they have. They would have seen hell. The Ukrainians are not lazy people. They are strong. That's why we see many talented boxers coming out from there.

The peace plan tells a different story. It obviously seeks to appease, placate and assure Russia. As for the objectives of Russia, this is also very much guaranteed in the peace plan. No NATO membership for Ukraine, freedom of Russian speaking Ukraine, guarantee by NATO to halt expansion. You can choose to believe whatever you like, yet these are the current realities.
As far as a fair peace seal is concerned, only Russia can get a fair deal as they are the ones with the power to. Ukraine will get whatever others decide for it.
